Such a solid entertaining pure fun of a game. Lots to do on every level and beating the story line is just scratching the surface of what you can do in this adventure. Lots of nods to classic Mario games of years past!

It's Mario made by Nintendo you can't say anything bad about it, my son's probably play this game 65 times and beat it it's just so much fun

Seriously, they did right by fans with this one. Its still easy but with its challenging moments to keep you engaged, colorful as ever, family friendly, and content heavy to keep you playing for hours and hours.

Although I haven't put many hours into it, the game exceeded my expectations. The graphics are truly amazing and I love every world. I really enjoy the options they give you for platforming and exploring the levels.

Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch is phenomenal. The graphics are crisp, the character animations are fluid, and the game runs at a consistent 60 frames per second. The new gameplay mechanic of using your hat as a weapon and temporarily possessing NPC's to creatively reach goals is very fun. Being awarded Power Moons for your efforts and the little animation that Mario does never gets old. The only gripe I have is that while not "required", some moves can only be done with the JoyCons removed and in your hands a-la Wiimotes. This makes portable play in handheld mode a bit more challenging, but it's still a blast. A definite must-have for any Mario fan and really anyone who owns a Nintendo Switch.

I was interested in this game since I saw the gameplay. If you are skeptical if this is a good game I'm telling you right now this game is so good you wont regret it. you will be yelling "its a me, Mario!" all day lol

Mario Odyssey is a wonderful game that will be remembered for years to come. Every time a new 3d Mario comes out, it always seems to be era-defining but I think odyssey is even more so than the others. The new method of movement introduced is one if the best in Mario history and it really benefits from the open world genre. I every nook and every cranny there is a secret to be found and not a second is boring. It's is truly one of the best games of all time.

Great game. Super fun and exciting. It reminds me of Mario 64, it takes me back to those days. The soundtrack is awesome. You won’t be disappointed with this pick up. Love it!

I was pretty hyped for this release. Glad to see i wasnt let down. Tons of puzzles. Being a Mario game, the graphics look amazing. The soundtrack is well put together. Overall a fun game to also play with a friend.

This game reminds me of every greatest Mario games combined and then some. I was astonished at how fun and cool this game is! It will definitely provide hours of entertainment! It's great for the family!

I've never really been a huge Mario fan (don't dislike the games, just never felt the need to play them) and have never really played any of the 3D titles but I really enjoyed this game. It's a good combination of easy but fun platforming for the main progression and a ton of side and post-game exploration and challenging stuff to collect for folks that are into that. My only real gripe that tempted me to give it 4 stars is that chucks of what you can collect is double locked so you can't just clear each area as you have to go and need to go back once you've beaten the game to fully complete an area. That's probably a good thing for most people though and is more of a personal hangup so I don't think it's worth docking the game a star.

Earlier this year, we were blessed with Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. It was an unbelievable take on one of favorite franchises and easily a game of the year nominee (I still play it regularly today). Never in my wildest dreams did I think that in the Switch's first year, I would be saying the same thing about Mario, another one of my favorite series. This game is a masterpiece. It is so much fun, so well done, and provides some serious competition to Zelda in the GOTY race. Highly recommended to everyone. Also, it is a game that is absolutely amazing to play both on your TV and in handheld mode. Some games I find more fun in one of those modes vs. the other, but Odyssey has been just as enjoyable either way you play it.

Completely worth the hype. A game that any Switch owner, or any gamer foe that matter, shouldn’t miss. New gameplay mechanics are a lot of fun and there is plenty to explore if you want to go off the linear path.

Where do I even begin with this game? This game is the perfection of what Nintendo has been doing great since Super Mario 64. My favorite game of all time was Super Mario 64 and I never thought it would ever be beaten, but then came Super Mario Odyssey. OH MY GOODNESS! Super Mario Odyssey was able to not dethrone, but come in a very close tie for me with Super Mario 64. Super Mario Odyssey is able to feel nostalgic with vibes of Super Mario 64, while still doing its own thing. This game is absolute perfection. If you are a fan of Nintendo, Mario, fun adventures, or just video games in general, then you absolutely must get this game! In my opinion, this game alone makes the Switch worth owning!

In my opinion, the best Mario game for Nintendo Switch. The game is really fun, my kids loved it and we played as a family. I really liked it, I recommend it.

Buy it. There's nothing more to say, but I'll say more anyway. The music is peak. The locations are peak. New Donk city is amazing. The gameplay has that increfible movement you'd expect from 3D Mario. So much creativty packed into one game.

This game is really fun to play together as a family or by yourself. My kids love it and it is very entertaining.
