This game is awesome, so much to do and collect!!!

Having a lot of fun with this game. Tight controls, fun game-play, and happy/colorful vibe. Not sure it is anything mind blowing, and certainly feel like it was over-hyped by critics, but enjoyable all the same!

Super Mario Odyssey is great because it's a game that you can play a lot at once, or little bits here and there and still be fully immersed in the gameplay. I do think it is a tad short, but it's nice that you don't have to sink an unruly amount of time into it. However, this is a must have for anyone who owns a Nintendo Switch.

This game is excellent for an adult or a child. I played this game faithfully for two weeks until I saved the Princess. The graphics are fun. Each level has a new trick for Mario to do. It’s explained very well. After you save the princess, you are able to continue to play and find more moons and stars just like other Mario games.

Nintendo has done it again! Super Mario Odyssey is a masterpiece! The innovation in this game is apparent within a few minutes into gameplay. New and innovative ways to play the game occur in each level. This game reminds me of how I felt when I first played Super Mario 64. This is an incredible must-have for every Switch collection!

If you have played and enjoyed mario 64, galaxy, etc. this is a must have. The platforming is exceptionally tight, the variety is massive, and the exploratory style allows you to play each level without tightly controlled missions and hand holding. There is plenty to do if you are not a completionist, and a massive amount if you are.

I am a big Nintendo fan and have been looking forward to the release of Odyssey for quite awhile. I preordered the game through Best Buy. There were no issues whatsoever! My game was ready on time and pick up was a breeze. I immediately went home and started playing. It's an instant classic and arguably the best Mario game ever made.

This game is so great I love it, and playing in the Nintendo Switch is even best, where you can play either on the go or at home, Great buy! I love the whole concept that it tells you what basic things to do but yet there is way more to it of what it tells you. You literally have to sit there and discover. It's so good, I love it!

I love this game, ive had it for a bit and i already finished it! granted i did have alot of free time lol anywho theres so much to do within the game. this game gives a mix of the Mario galaxy and nintendo 64 and a bunch more all jam packed into one adventure ! def would recommend!

This game is a most own for fans of Mario. Many fantastic levels to explore with something to do every inch of the way. Great for kids and adults alike. I purchased this game on sale but in my opinion it would be worth full price

It reminds me so much of the 3d platformer on the nintendo 64, this is a great game that uses the joy cons to great effect. Beautiful graphics and delightfully fun gameplay. It is also easily accessible with assist mode and 2 player mode to allow younger gamers to participate and enjoy one of the best Mario games I have played.

Super Mario Odyssey is a very fun and refreshing game added to the lineup of Super Mario 3D games. I've played it with friends and family and decided to finally get my own copy. Looking forward to more adventure and quality time!

This game is asthetically beautiful! Each world has it's own feel (i.e. it's own unique set of challenges). I love the fact that there is a lot to do after the end of the main story. There are new kingdoms that you can unlock by collecting more moons, providing incentive to collect them all. I highly recommend this game!

My wife and I decided we needed something to pass time with, so what better than to buy a new console and a couple games? Glad we bought the new Switch. Its been a joy to sit back and relax while enjoying some Mario or Zelda. Controls are different, but easy to learn and the portability is great. Id recommend a switch to anybody.

Mario Odyssey is a game that particularly fits well with the Switch's handheld nature because you're constantly being rewarded with moons and other collectibles throughout your journey. Most other Mario games have their missions built with longer sessions in mind (which I personally prefer), but there is definitely merit in the way this game is structured. The movement options are fluid, the bosses are well designed, and the capture mechanic helps set Odyssey apart from the other 3D Mario games. If you're looking to get someone into 3D platformers, Odyssey is a great entry to start with.

This game is so much fun and a total blast to play through. There is so much to do. So you can play for hours among hours. And it doesn't have a difficulty spike it can be really easy for everyone or if you are really good at the game you can blow through with short cuts and tricks completely making a different kind of experience.

As someone who’s played every single Mario game since the original. I have to say that this is a masterpiece and ranks amongst one of the very best (a gold standard that is up there with Super Mario World, Super Mario 3 and Mario 64). I was skeptical to purchase it with the hat gimmick, but this has an amazing game beginning to end.

We don't give out tens lightly, but we have to ask, what more could we have wanted from this game? What could it have offered that would have made it better? The answer is not much. Playing Super Mario Odyssey is to experience pure joy. We couldn't wish for anything more than that from this series or from Nintendo. [Issue#193, p.64]

Very good game. This is definitely a perfect fit for the Switch. Even enjoyed playing with the joy-cons and didn’t automatically opt for the pro controller. Lots to do after you beat the main story mode and tons of moons to collect so definitely a lot of replay value. I would say it’s a nice combination of Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy.
