While, IMO, no Mario game will ever surpass Super Mario 3, Super Mario 64 was mightly close and this game exceeds that one! Great gaphics, lots of nostalgia but also plenty of ingenuity! Get this game if you have a Switch (I am guessing you probably already did if you do indeed have one)

This is probably my favorite Mario title of all time. It has great game play and everything about this game is just charming. If you were a fan of Mario 64, this is basically that with everything turned way up. If you're looking to 100% this title and do it without a guide, you have a huge amount of game ahead of you.

It's hard not to smile ear-to-ear when playing this game. Nintendo has taken the simple joys of running and jumping to a whole new level, yet again. With cheerfully beautiful worlds, ever-rewarding exploration and wonderfully creative gameplay mechanics. All with a level of polish that seems to be reserved solely for Mario games.

Nintendo has put awesome graphics to this Switch game. Watched my daughter play which was fun, and I will play soon (I am not sharp like her!). Adventures, stars to gather, many kingdoms, all very different and creative, with the HD graphics make it an awesome Mario game. Lots of post game play also. I cannot wait to play myself.

A really great game for any age, the music the visual effects and the ease of playing mixed with great challenges. A keeper no trades

Got this for my adult daughter as we were traveling over the holidays. SHe was engrossed in this game and stressed in the fun way of wanting to master the game. She said it was a fun challenge and she could start from beginning again and it would still be fun. Good enough for this dad!

Fun, good music. Good controls, easy to learn to play.

I casually play Mario games and am not a huge fan of them like some. This game however feels so grand and evokes such a warm and great feeling to it's player it's undeniable that this is a modern classic in the making. game-play the world and your new abilities in this game are so fun and rewarding it's just a blast to play.

This is one of the best games I've bought. Even though i just got a switch and this game came out a long time ago, this have is awesome. You have a cute hat friend that goes everywhere with you. Definitely worth every penny.

I haven't really played any Mario games since I was a kid so I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I have (as an adult!) MUST BUY for anyone with a Switch who wants a game to play at their own pace and keep themselves entertained for hours on end. Every World introduces new and different mechanics keeping the game fresh.

Fun and beautiful game. Best Mario game in a long time

The gameplay is similar to that of Mario 64 or Mario Sunshine but is very polished with tons of creative moments. The game is a joy to play. If I must list a complaint, the camera isn't great. Increasing the camera sensitivity helps a lot but too often objects are obstructing the view. That's just nitpicking though. Great game.

After playing a little bit of the game at Comic Con this year, Super Mario Odyssey is even better than the demo! Moving and spinning the hat is a lot of fun, but using Hatty to transform into a T-Rex and other creatures is even better! The game is easy enough for a kid to beat it, but the after content is for the pros. 5 Stars!

Played this when my sister had it for the switch and decided to buy the game for myself this time since she moved away. This game brings me so many memories of playing sunshine and mario 64 and I believe it to be one of my favorite games of all time. I'm so glad to have played through it.

Really excellent game. The main game progresses pretty quickly but there continue to be challenges and objectives to keep you busy for hours. There are hundred of stars and coins to collect but yet collecting them really doesn't feel like grinding. Each kingdom has its own personality. Excellent game I absolutely recommend it.

I've played a lot of Mario games and this one is by far my favorite, even more than Super Mario Galaxy. Easy enough for someone who has never played a Mario game before but challenging enough for people who have played every Mario installment. Great for kids and adults.

My son lost his game so we bought another. He loves this game.
