Nintendo can simply do no wrong when it comes to the classic plumber platformer. The games always welcome newcomers to the series with a gameplay style simply unique to the Nintendo ecosystem. I eagerly play this when time allows because sometimes I get so drawn in and realize it's 3 in the morning!

Such a beautiful experience reminiscent of my favorite Mario game, Mario 64. The open land platform is reminiscent of more recent iterations, but the graphics and integration of previous coding, like Wii U's Super Mario Maker, makes for a visually beautiful and fully immersive gaming experience.

Thoroughly enjoying this game. Love all the extra moons you can grab in each level, and all the extra areas that can be discovered throughout the game.

Most unique and original Mario game to date! Game consists of finding moons to complete levels or move to the next area. 999 moons in all, 3 for defeating bossses and single moons are hidden everywhere sometimes in plain sight. Has an assist mode in game meant to help the younger players of this game.

I've never liked the 3D Mario games as much as the 2D ones. However, this one peaked my interest. It has been a blast to play. I was surprised as to how fun it was to play as the hat in 2 player mode. Great game and if you are a Mario fan a must own.

Love this game. It brought back the same excitement I got when I was younger and a snow day from school came and we were thrashing at super Mario 3 non stop. Great game. No one can be disappointed

SMO is an absolutely wonderful game that illustrates everything that video games CAN and SHOULD be - pure fun. Easily one of the best games of 2017, and one of the best games you can purchase for the Switch. If you're a Switch owner and you haven't purchased Super Mario Odyssey, you're missing out.

Don't know what to say other than "WOW." Game is amazing. Looks and plays great on both big screen or on the go. It is a "must have" title. I know I am late on this one but to anyone who is on the fence about getting a switch, this game could be the only one you get and it would be worth it.

I play this every time I have a night alone without my wife. She forbids me from videogames so I play this in my hideout place while she's getting dinner with her other guy friends. She always comes back late so I have lots of time to play

This game is full of surprises. I'm not a good platformer gamer, but I really enjoyed the game. I thought the "collecting moon" thing can be repetitive, but it's apparently not. Each puzzle has been quite unique so far. And also, this game really pushes Switch to its limit. The graphics are stunning.

This game really hit the spot for the nostalgia I had playing SM64. This game is the perfect mix of retro and new age mechanics in the Mario Universe. While some of the boss fights are pretty repetitive, the level designs are amazing and incredible fun for hours on end. I cannot wait to play more.

I've been playing Mario games since the '90s and they never disappoint. Mario's adventures are always full of fun and packed with hours and hours of content and this iteration is no different. You always feel a sense of joy you often get from playing Mario games that you don't get from many others.

This is one of my favorite Mario games ever. This game and Breath of the Wild have justified my purchase of the switch. The game has many power moons to collect. Some are more fun than others but I enjoyed collecting every one. The power moons that were a challenge to get were my favorite.

I bought 2 of these games, one for my grandson and one for myself. He hasn't played his yet but I'm sure he will enjoy it. I had a couple of chances to play and I can tell it is going to be a lot of fun. It incorporates parts of the 2D Super Mario games from the past which I thought was kind of cool.

Great game, my son loves it. You can even play 2 players and with him being 7 makes it even more fun.

My favorite is still Galaxy, but this game is a close second. Large explorable levels give a feeling of openness that hasn’t existed before. Replay ability is very high...being able to keep exploring levels after completing the game. It is new, yet very familiar. If you like Mario, it is a must have.

Super Mario Odyssey is the best 3D Mario since Mario 64. The game offers as little or as much challenge as you would like, catering to both beginners and challenge-lovers. The game looks great, both docked and undocked, and runs like a dream. Don't let this game be missing from your Switch library!

Mario's latest adventure has you exploring new worlds in a new way. With the help of your new partner, Cappy, you can take control of enemies to help navigate the environment and stop Bowser from carrying out his diabolical plan.

This is a must have for anyone who loves Mario games especially the 3D style like Mario64. The addition of using the hat to control different beings within the levels adds more depth to the gameplay. Very fun game from beginning to end.
