This is the true spiritual sequel to Super Mario 64. The sandbox style gameplay is back, and with over 800 moons to collect, you'll be exploring every nook and cranny for hours. It's a joy to control Mario, and the charm and presentation Nintendo put into this title constantly makes you smile.

Received this on Friday, and my 10 & 7 year went to work conquering the game. We had to peel them away they absolutely love the game. From a parent perspective the game is good clean fun. I will say I was shocked how quickly the kids were able to finish the game. It took them less than a week.

I have only played a few 3d mario games but this one takes the cake

I bought this in the past for my older son. He enjoyed it and then sold it at an older age. My younger son now has the switch and I bought it for his birthday. He seems to like it.

I can see why this tops most gaming blogs’ lists. This a great adventure from start to finish with some throwback mini Mario games along the way. Great graphics and story. Skill levels range from easy to addictively challenging. Very rewarding to finish this Odyssey. Definitely recommend.

I’m shocked at how much I️ enjoyed this game. It never feels like a chore to do anything, it’s just flat out fun. 3D world was the last main Mario game out before this and it kind of felt like the series was loosing its luster. I’m happy to say, playing this has made me love the series again.

This is the best Switch game since Breath Of The Wild. ARMS, Sonic Mania, Pokken, Fire Emblem, Splatoon, etc are all great games but this ones in its own league. Graphics are colorful and nice on a tv or in portable mode. Levels are fun and some have challaging parts. Excellent replayability.

My son and I both play this and we have throughly enjoyed it. Controls are a bit to get used to tho, but once you do you’re good. It’s even got some 8 but areas like some of us grew up with. Nintendo has been making me happy with Mario since the very first one and it still continues to do so.

I've enjoyed every minute I was playing this game and it's fun collecting moons. Switch owners need this game, players without a Switch need to go buy one to play this game. Nintendo has produced another great game, and this may very well be their best year of games since the Super Nintendo.

5 stars isn't enough to rate this game. This is by far the best game that has come out on the Nintendo Switch. In my book, it beats Zelda. If you are a fan of Mario or have played any type of Mario games in the past, this game is a must have.I would buy the Switch alone just for this game.

Hands down the best Mario game I’ve played in YEARS

Bought this game for my 14 year old daughter. She is a huge fan of Super Mario Brother games and this one did not disappoint. She finished the game within a week or 2 and has been going back to dicover more things. Great Game!!

It came here faster than I thought , I was supposed to get this 2 days later than I got it. the game is really fun and adventurous.

This game still gives you the vibes of the classic Mario games but with a more modern twist. I definitely enjoy that it throws in little modes in the game where it’s like the classic Mario, when you go into some pipes. Also love how I can use coins to buy different outfits for Mario.

I haven't played through the entire game yet as it was a Christmas gift from my husband. I thought this would be just another Mario game but was pleasantly surprised how fresh the gameplay felt. So much fun and great break from the more "serious" first person shooter games we usually play.

This very well could be the finest Super Mario game ever made. Make sure the kids have done their chores, finished their schoolwork, and get to bed on time so you get a chance to play.

The 3D mario games have been killing it for a while, with Galaxy, Mario 3D Land, and Mario 3D World, but this one outdoes them with an open world setting and tons to do. Will keep you busy for months if you dig in. First Nintendo revamped Zelda and now Mario - the Switch era is great.

This game from the start has been nothing but non stop entertainment and exploration. I love the integration of 2D in a 3D world as well as an open landscape to explore. I love all the different side challenges and campaigns to complete that add a whole other dimension to the game. Must buy!

I remember playing Super Mario on the old 'grey brick' Gameboy when I was a kid. I'm 30 now and can attest to the evolution of the Mario character and the games over the years. Mario Odyssey captures the essence of the character and his world, and will guarantee fun from beginning to end.

i saw and saw many reviews and game play of this and couldn't calm the excitement of getting to own the game. Now the game is in my palms and ready to start yet another Great Mario game. this one is yet another masterpiece to the legacy. This is a must have for all ages fun and adventurous.
