Honestly this is the definitive Mario game for the Switch. From the fresh new perspective on its platforming to even introducing some old school aspects (Which I wont spoil). The game is not very challenging but if you want to go the extra mile to collect all the items can be rewarding.

I spent a lot on this game and all of it I enjoyed it is a very fun platforming game, there's so much to do and there's a lot of content in it, and you'll find yourself playing for a long time, even though i was just the player 2 playing as the hat it was still a lot of fun, and i highly recommend it.

Another great 3D Mario adventure! The team that released this back in 2017, went on to make Donkey Kong Bananza which came out this year. Tons of stuff to do and collect in Odyssey. If you're a Mario fan, this title will put a smile on your face!

This game is the best Mario game ever. It feels like a true successor to Mario 64. It has loads of content. It's constantly surprising the player with new ideas. It incorporates Mario ideas from past games and makes them better. It also makes fun of the Mario universe a bit and is very entertaining. If you own a Switch this is a must buy.

This Mario isn’t the 2d platforming type. It isn’t really a lot like the 3D platforming type. It’s more like an open world collecting moons type of Mario. It’s very similar in style to Mario 64 that was on the N64. This is my favorite type. Don’t get me wrong there is platforming. It’s just that there is also roaming around a world looking for power moons by completing tasks, thinking, combatting, etc. The worlds are beautiful. The soundtrack is addictive. It’s a upbeat positive game that is just a joy to play. Colors are vivid and bright. There are times where there are songs with lyrics playing while playing. Which I could be wrong but I don’t ever remember that in a Mario game. These are special. I don’t want to spoil it but one of my all time favorite Mario (actually one of my all time favorite gaming moments) takes place about midway in the game in New Donk City. It’s simply a fun gamE. You earn coins throughout plYing the game. You can use these to decorate your ship or buy clothes for Mario. And this doesn’t cost extra real money. It’s all included in the game. One of the best games.

I bought this game to play with my 6 year old daughter and it did not disappoint. We’re having a blast!!! Had been a long long time since I played a Super Mario title and this game made me feel like a kid again. Highly recommended.

It’s a me, Mario! lol, we all know what we are getting when we buy a Nintendo Mario title. Hours upon hours of fun and replay ability. The graphics are great....It’s easy for kids to learn the controls & great for all ages. If you haven’t picked up a Switch yet, pick this one up along with Mario kart 8 deluxe for plenty of family fun!!!

Nintendo always produces good Mario games and this one is no different. The 3d feel is similar to Mario Galaxy, but it introduces new mechanics with Cappy. The story is great and the new mechanics are great. If you love Mario games it is a must have. There is a lot to do and explore. However, the one downside to the game is power moon achievements. There are so many of them, and most require little skill or ability. It is as if they just randomly scattered them throughout the game. I think this takes away from power moons that are really difficult to get. Essentially, you get the same reward for really difficult tasks as you would get for finding a power moon sitting out in the open. Besides that, it is a really fun game.

This game is awesomeness in its purest form. It’s so much fun and does a really good job of being able to tell a pretty entertaining story while also being able to be a game you can pick up where you left off anytime. No huge time commitment needed. My wife is not much of a gamer but she’s just having a blast with this game.

Great experience with a mix of new and retro. Endless gameplay even after completing the story. It’s hours of fun and the co-op is fun and funny. Highly recommend!

Wow is all i can really use to describe this game. This is by far the best Mario Game I have ever played and I have played them all. It is great too look at in addition to playing. The graphics are amazing, Nintendo always has such great art design. And the gameplay is top notch. Controls are tight and easy for almost anyone to play.

I've been playing Mario games since the very beginning, so I like to think I know a thing or two about them. Super Mario Odyssey may well be the best 3D Mario game ever made, and it's in my personal top 3 Mario games of all time. While the game is - as expected - family friendly, it provides layers of challenges for players of all ages. Some of the (optional) tasks in the game are outright hair-tearing, for only the most skilled players, but that's part of what achievement is all about! However, while the game is designed to appeal to everyone, Nintendo took the time to add some extra nods to long-time fans, not only in the worlds and the critters/characters you happen across, but through set pieces and a spectacular mid-game musical number that old-timers like me have to appreciate.

This game is fantastic. There's very little that needs to be said about Super Mario Odyssey other than the fact that you need/should be playing this title if you're a Nintendo Switch owner. There's a reason this game is constantly competing with Breath of the Wild for Game of the Year for 2017. It's that good. All of it. ALL OF IT.

This is definitely one of the best Nintendo games. Anyone who plays the Nintendo games should have this title in their library. The game looks great and is fun. I have already played tens of hours, but just cannot put it down. Some part is quite challenging, I have to retry several times and watch walk-through videos to pass it.

This is probably one of the best Mario games to date. The story is basically the same. The princess is taken, again, by Bowser and Mario must save her. Very easy to pick up and play for the Novice, but there are tons of collectibles to find to keep the Mario pro busy for days. No regrets on the price of admission for this game.

Oh Mario games are the best to me. Love everything about it
