This is one of the best Nintendo games. My grandson all play this game. This was the first favorite when they got their first switch 4 years ago.

This game just keeps on surprising me with every new level. There is so much to see, do, collect, and by letting Mario take over the bodies of enemies and inanimate objects, there are so many new and exciting abilities you can gain to complete objectives. Truly a joy to play!

This is just such a blast to play. Nothing like a flagship Mario title to get you excited about playing a Nintendo console. I'm a little old school so I can remember getting the NES with the first Super Mario game, then Mario 64 and Galaxy for the Wii. This gives that same level of excitement!

We had previously purchased Mario Kingdom Battle, but found this to quickly advance beyond our 5 and 9 year old's ability to play independently. We have only been playing this game for a week or so, but we like this one much better!

I've had a blast playing this with my 9yo son. We came off playing Bowser's Fury and this felt like a great continuation of that gameplay. Same idea with the power moons as the cat shines. More puzzle-solving, scavenger hunting, task completion and area unlocking than fighting enemies but the boss battles are classic. And taking control of enemies and using their powers is a great twist on power-ups, and even necessary to complete levels. Like the title says, so much fun!

This is the first new Mario adventure I've purchased since Super Mario 64. There are plenty of similarities to that title, but on a seemingly much larger scale. I've only played a few hours so far, but I'm very impressed to this point. It's quite impressive. Everything from the breathtaking visuals to the creativity and imagination required to seek out all of the moons and coins within each kingdom... I am really very impressed with this game. I especially like that there are several points in the game in which Mario reverts to his flat, 8-bit, 2-dimensional NES form in order to complete a side-scrolling throwback section. It serves as a pretty cool nod to those of us who grew up on that Mario back in the day. If I had to say that there was a drawback to this game, I'd say it's the complexity of the controls, although to be fair, I am still new to both this game and the Nintendo Switch as a whole. I definitely recommend this game!

One of the most fun I’ve had with a video game in a long time. The controls are buttery smooth. The visuals are vibrant and beautiful, the music and sound effects are catchy and nostalgic and the gameplay is a blast. If you own a Nintendo Switch, you should grab this cart.

The game is pretty fun to play. It's classic Mario in 3D with 2D sprinkled in. Lots of different adventures and areas to explore. Somewhat of an open world. The reason I gave it four stars is because I bought this to play two player and it's just not designed that well for it. You can either be Mario and do all the fun stuff or be the hat and throw yourself at things (basically). It pretty much turned it into a one player game. So if that's what you're looking for, you'll enjoy this.

My experience with Mario Odyssey has been incredible. There is so much life in all the kingdoms and the skills needed grow as you learn the game better. It is fun to play for people of all ages and with so much content after the main story, this game will last a long time!

I never like 3D games. But Mario Odyssey is an exception. Maybe because I am playing it on a handheld/tablet size screen. I played the very first edition of Mario which is from Nintendo back in the 90s. Last Mario game I am into is Super Mario Brother for SNES. After those I have never got back into any of the Mario games. Mario Odyssey really got me back into playing video games again and this game really pack way more stuff than what I expected. The bosses was easy to defeat which I have no problem with. The one great thing I love about this game are that there are no one way to play. Depend on the skill level you are which have to do with control and handling, if you are one of those who can do super jump, you will be able to explore a whole new world behind the scene which I think this is the mater piece of this game's creation. Nintendo really nail this game and I will recommend it to all of my friends.

This is a great game, hands down. If you loved the old Mario 64 then this is possibly for you. It is does almost all the best parts of what made M64 great. The biggest noticeable differences being 2. The length of the game, it was a tad short but every second getting there was fun, and it has some end game which I wasn’t expecting so you can squeeze more out of it! The second being that if I remember correctly M64 being a bit more fluid. I never felt like I was “changing levels” as much at least as I did in SMO. Where in SMO you definitely felt the jaring effect of changing worlds. In that sense it felt like a modern mixing of M64 with the original SMB and using a pipe to change levels, your pipe instead being replaced by a flying hat ship....ok? Ha! Anyway, smallest of gripes! Don’t let that sway you! This is a great game, don’t expect a sale for this one, so get it as soon as ya can! Don’t miss out on near perfection!
