5/5 without a doubt! Fantastic visuals, absurd amount of content, and controls are super tight! It's exactly what you want and the perfect sequel to Mario 64 and Sunshine! If your getting a switch then make sure to grab this and breath of the wild!

This was such a cool, different take on the Super Mario franchise! I love the fact that it’s open-world, and the graphics are great! I would definitely recommend this game to any Mario fan!

Great Game with lots of hours invested already. Main story is similar to previous Mario games in that the player can complete the main story regardless of skill level, yet there are plenty of secrets to be found by more skilled players. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the different outfits do not offer anything other than aesthetics. I think it would really open up the possibilities if the costumes gave the player different abilities. (Such as in Super Mario Bros 2. Peach could hover, Luigi was squirrelly with a really powerful jump.)

Super fun game, bonus that you can play two-player. My 7 and 11 yr olds love it!

From beginning to end, Nintendo does not disappoint! In his latest adventure Mario is once again tasked with going after, Bowser and saving Princess Peach from certain doom! That certain doom: blissful marriage? It seems like Bowsers' plans to marry Princess Peach are set into motion and as a result a new item for Mario to use on his quest emerges. Cappy befriends Mario and takes it upon himself to aid in stopping the nefarious Bowsers plan! And calamity ensues while on that quest. The controls in the game are vintage Mario and right off the bat it brings you back to the first time you played Mario 64. The levels are open, detailed and lush! The detail to the music played in every world is beautiful and completely emerges you in the game. With hours of great gaming, Super Mario Odyssey is a definite buy for Nintendo Switch owners!

This game is such a great take on Mario! It builds on some of the game play and concept from Super Mario Galaxy and does a great job expanding the universe. There's so much to do in the game, I don't think I'll be finished with it anytime soon.

I have not beat this game but have played a good chunk of it. Right now I would say it’s the true successor to Mario 64 and it’s great. Simplified controls makes this accessible to everyone and still robust. Must have game for any Switch owner.

Started playing mario odyssey and didn't know if I would like it from the videos I had seen. But thought to give it a shot and I was impressed by the controls, levels, and story. I would give 4.5 out of 5.

Probably the best Mario game that I've ever played. Really cool story line and the hat brings a Kirby like feel to the game in my opinion. Countless hours of play time even after you finish the main story. Must have for a Nintendo Switch owner

Mario party had always been one of my favorite Nintendo games. The graphics are great but I can't compare to the Wii. Switch is pretty cool but overpriced and honestly I'd be just as happy if the games were on the same old console.

After a long stretch of increasingly generic and conservative Mario titles, Odyssey feels like a breath of fresh air, much like Breath of the Wild. It doesn't reinvent the series like BotW, but rather refines what made the 3D Marios great. If there is one criticism to be leveled against it, it's that at times the game feels patronizing. Moons are given for doing the most basic of tasks at times, and the difficulty is extremely low, to the point that this is almost a "baby's first" Mario, at least until much later in the game. Otherwise it is fantastic and an absolute joy to play. Also, a note for parents: the E10+ rating is ridiculous. There is nothing objectionable in this game compared to previous entries in the series, and I would suggest you look up the ESRB's exact reasons for the rating to see just how unreasonable it is.

This is a gift for my nephew. He doesn’t know mario well, and this is the best introduction game for him. Lots to explore, discover and collectibles to find. Easy to pick up, hard to master.

Nintendo made another perfect exclusive. This game is so much fun. The visual are great, gameplay is spot on, controls feel like smooth. Cappy is a great addition to Mario. It kinda feels like Mario teams up with Kirby. And it works perfectly.

Love, love, love this game! It takes classic elements from mario 64, sunshine, galaxy, and more, in addition to adding while new mechanics in amazing new worlds and a fun story for some of the greatest Mario fin you can have. Highly recommend!

After Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine, I've been waiting years to play an open world Mario game. Mario Odyssey ticks every box. Excellent and challenging gameplay, polish in every aspect, and most important - fun. I've been enjoying every moment!

This has been our favorite Nintendo Switch game by far. Story line is the same, princess kidnapped and Mario to the rescue, however the game has so much to do it will keep you entertained. Kids and adults will love this game.

My Love for Super Mario Brothers has returned after playing Odyssey. This is an amazing open world game, and it's almost never ending due to the amount of moons you are able to find. if you own a Nintendo switch, this is a must have game!!

Nintendo continues to make perfect AAA game after perfect AAA game and Mario Odyssey is no exception. This game is PERFECT. Everything from the controls, to the graphics, to the game worlds - PERFECT.

This game is good. There is a lot of things to collect and find in this game. If you want to 100% complete this you'll have your work cut out for you there are 999 moon shards to collect and each world has purple coins that need to be found.
