Very smooth gameplay with intuitive puzzles on a colorful world with various levels offering exploration for all ages, I found it to be very enjoyable thus far

This game is a must own for any nintendo switch owner. Great game for all ages, it reminds me so much of super mario 64. Lots of things to do in game and I really like the fact they integrated the retro mario in some levels.

I haven't made it to the end of this game yet, but this is undoubtedly one of the most fun games I've played in a while. The new Zelda made me get a Switch, and Odyssey has made me not regret it one bit. I found myself playing this until 4 AM one night. Lots of great exploration in these fantastic worlds that also provide a lot of challenge in the traversal. This is the first core Mario game I've played since Super Mario 64, and it plays pretty much the same as that, but with some new tricks added (not just Capture and the hat throwing, but also a continuous roll and an extra jump coming off a ground pound). I want to reach the end and see all the kingdoms in it, but I will find myself returning to it to potentially get all of the moons, but also just explore some more.

I love it! This is game is SO CHAMPIONS! There is include old classic Mario and it is very funny and enjoying! I am addicting to play to collect Moons and coins! I do recommend everyone to get this! Seriously!

While I disagree with the 10/10 ratings, that doesn't mean it's not a really good game. It's relatively short and most of the content is fairly easy for a seasoned veteran of Mario titles. Even the most challenging parts are made easy if you have any Mario Amiibo. 100%ing this game took me a week of gameplay. The developers use lots of stereotypes for the different races of NPCs, some may or may not find a way to consider offense taken. Despite popular reports, this game STILL calls Mario a Plumber!

Loving this game. A lot of the moons are pretty easy to gather but some are more challenging. The worlds have a lot to explore and its fun solo or with a friend. Highly recommend using separated joycons to play this game.

I’ve been playing Mario games since the SNES, and this one is probably the most satisfying title in the series so far. Great graphics, imaginative worlds, and tons of content will keep you playing this for hours and hours.

Great game. Spend hours playing with the family and by myself. Definitely brings back the nostalgia of the classic Mario games. Nintendo made a great choice.

at first I wasn't interested in this game. but after a friend recommended it. I gotta say nintendo did a great job with this game. it offers a nice variety and plays very well. and offers a ton of stuff to keep you busy!

I'm a HUGE Mario fan and I have to say that this game is extremely fun. I like how challenging it is and how it's a mix between the old games and completely new. The way you can go between being in a 3D world to being in a 2D world is fun and makes me reminisce back. Obviously the graphics are awesome and overall game quality is what you'd expect for a game made in this time period. I enjoy the fact that you can play it 2 player and the dynamic in how you play it is different. 1 player is Mario and the other player is his hat. You'd think that wouldn't be as fun but it honestly is. It's an important rule. (similar to how Diddy and Donkey Kong are). 10/10 would recommend this game to new and existing Mario fans.

This is a great game that is easy enough for young children to play and has enough challenges for the avid gamer to even make it fun for them. So fun for whole family

It’s not the same type of Mario that I am used to playing growing up. It is definitely different but yet still lots of fun. At least my oldest daughter enjoys it. Graphics and story throughout the game are nicely done.

Awesome game that I don't regret buying on day one. Controls great, imaginative worlds to explore, and has a sense of charm, wonder, and discovery that a lot of games are missing nowadays. A must buy if you own a switch.

I absolutely adored this title. Great level design, fun platforming, good soundtrack, and the best controls for a 3D Mario title. It's a game I'd recommend to any fan of platformers. Must own game for a must own system!

I waited until the last minute to order some items for a friend's birthday. I wasn't sure if they were going to arrive in time. The delivery was super fast, I was so relieved I got it before their birthday. Now, my friend can play this game worry-free knowing I have My Best Buy Membership coverage. We loved this game. We have not yet completed but so far it has been great to play either solo or with someone. You have multiple control options, which are really useful, although I drastically prefer the traditional control model when on solo. The game is basically a love letter to all of the games that came before (especially Super Mario 64 so if you loved that game get this immediately), and it's beautiful to boot. If you like Mario, you obviously like this game.

This is one of the best Mario games to date. There's a lot of content here, there's a giant works with a lot of exploration and depth. Solid platforming and mechanics. Make sure you buy this if you own a switch.
