Been out of gaming for a while but got my 6 year old a switch for his birthday. This was a fun one to watch him play and help him beat. I had to help a little bit with some of the bosses but my son was able to complete the game!

The game is all that I expected and more. It is very well done and polished. Both in Handheld and docked modes the game plays flawlessly and have not experienced any frame rate drops. For all of those that complain about the graphics are just hating on the game. The game is beautiful with all kinds of stuff to observe. While it may not take a large amount of time to get through a board, there are all kinds of areas to explore as well as items to get. Maybe you can get through the game in a few hours, but I have spent more than 20 hours solving puzzles and completing tasks. Don't listen to the haters, if you have a Switch it is a must buy, well if you are into Mario games.

This game has amazing visuals and amazing levels, only issue is that there are so many stars and so many easy stars, but to some that isn't an issue.

Super Mario Odyssey is an awesomely fun game. The platforming is a bit difficult for our 5 year old still, but he mainly plays Cappy while my husband controls Mario. They both love the game.

This time Mario is off to save Princess Peach from the clutches of the evil koopa King Bowser, oh wait that’s nothing new. But most of everything else is, there’s so much awesome in this installment it’s hard to notice it all, Nintendo really went all out with adding Easter egg references to so many of their games and even using some of them to bring new and unique game play to the adventure this time around. Capy your companion this time is defeated my favorite Mario game gameplay gemic mechanic I’ve seen in a long time. This is definitely a must play for anyone that loves 3D platformers and or just platform games. Even more so for Nintendo fans and Super Mario fans.

I thought Breath of the Wild was a shoe-in for game of the year but now Nintendo has insane competition...from itself. Mario Galaxy looks great, controls great, and is just a boatload of fun.

This is one of the must have titles for the Switch. Mario Odyssey is a joy to play from start to finish. If youre a fan of 3D platformers (specifically Mario 64 or Sunshine) then let's be real, you probably already own this, but if somehow you still havent played this one, do yourself a favor and buy it now!

This is what you call a cornerstone game. Do not buy a Switch without purchasing this game. It is so well done from the graphics to the controls. Much easier to play with the pro controller.

My daughter and I have loved playing this. For her it has tons to explore, even in the earlier levels which are easier. So even if she gets frustrated by the hard levels there's still tons to do in the easy ones. For me it reminds me of my days playing Mario 64 but much much bigger.

Mario Odyssey is a great game for anyone that is interested in exploring. There are a lot of cool stuff on the maps and the graphics is pretty cool too. Great game for any Super Mario Fan!

Super Mario Odyssey is an absolute joy to play on the Switch. The graphics are beautiful and the music is fantastic. The addition of Cappy as a player 2 made playing this game entertaining for my husband and me as he could play an active part in the game. As a seasoned platformer, I found it easy to pick up but challenging to master. I am still coming back to this game, after three months of on and off playing, trying to find all the Power Moons. I would have liked to see Luigi like in Super Mario Galaxy but we'll see what Nintendo does with the upcoming updates. Overall, this game is deserving of the critical acclaim it has received. I absolutely loved it.

Floating hats, cool graphics and new stories.Got this for the Millennials in the family to use with the Switch. Looks like it will give them their new dose of Mario on the Switch platform.

As a kid born in the late 80's, I've really grown up with Mario and all of his friends. I've played every Mario game since the NES days, and I can say that Odyssey is absolutely up there with some of his very best titles. The game has almost a Mario 64 feel to it, but Cappy adds an entirely new and exciting element to the gameplay. There are dozens of hours that can be spent on the game, and the difficulty level is really based on how much you want to accomplish in the game. I think a younger kid could work their way through the main story, but gamers of all ages will find difficulty and reward in seeking out all of the moons this world has to offer.

Super Mario Odyssey is the game to own on Nintendo Switch. It's fun, challenging and will keep you playing for a long time. This, along with Zelda Breath of the Wild, is THE game to own.

One of the two best Nintendo Switch games ever (Other being Zelda Botw). Amazing story, mechanics, graphics and just overall lots of fun to play

This title is everything a Mario game should be. Lots of surprises, fun tributes to the 8 bit game and takes full advantage of the unique features of the Switch. Wonderful title all around.
