Huge Mario fan here. From the beginning on NES to the Switch now, Mario has always been my go to game. This one has topped them all for me. The levels are just hard enough to keep me(father) interested and my son challenged. The different worlds, outfits, hats and moves are all top notch. The graphics are great and the depth of the worlds are amazing. Running into dinosaurs from Jurassic world or Bowser in a wedding tux, its all a sight to see. Add on some Amiibos and you can quickly get a little help when needed. So many different worlds, screens and cities really make this fun

Seriously, this game is so so so good. It's great for a Mario fan from any generation, or even just a casual gaming fan. It melds the traditional 2d gameplay with the newer 3d Mario gameplay for one of the best games of all time. Cappy and his mechanics offer a fresh addition on what would be an amazing game regardless. The costumes and being able to "possess" classic and new enemy characters is just icing on the cake. This is a must own and really has something to enjoy for anybody. On that note, you can even play with 2 players, where player 1 controls Mario and player 2 is Cappy!

So much fun using the hat and playing on the go ! Definitely a must have on the switch

This game and all its new features are amazing, the art and graphics look great and theres so much to do and find. The open worlds are so much fun to explore.

This game is incredible, it feel very responsive and the controls are very instinctive. There is lots of content, even after completing the story. Great game!

Lots of fun for 7 year old boy. Easy enough to pick up play and enough challenges and levels to keep entertained. Great graphics for type of adventure.

This is a great Mario game and it’s exactly what the Switch needed. Controls are fluid, visuals are awesome and it’s a fan game at co op. Highly recommended

Picked this up on Black Friday and I loved it! My daughter really enjoys this and honestly she played this more than me!

I don't think there's anything I can say about Mario that hasn't been said before, but I continue to be impressed with the way Nintendo somehow manages to raise the bar for itself with every Iteration... Actually, I didn't really love the Galaxy games that much (even though I thought they played better than Sunshine in general), maybe because I didn't like the Wii in the first place. I don't really love the Switch itself either but I'll take it over the Wii any day, so if you had similar antipathy towards Galaxy then don't be afraid to give this a shot!

I've played every main line Mario game and this is one of the absolute best - Nintendo went all-out with new ideas and broke boundaries with this one. The worlds are a lot of fun and the capturing technique is such a good fit for Mario - I hope it will become standard in future games. Another nice thing about this game is how it works for a wide variety of players: "beating" the game is fairly easy but if you want to "100% it" you'll need to put in a lot more time and skill to get the hundreds and hundreds of power moons. Not to mention all the costumes, which are super fun!

Ok, this game is AMAZING! So much nostalgia, along with new and fresh ideas, are jam packed in this game. I don't want this game to end! So much to explore!

I almost skipped this one because the design and artwork are weird. The people in suits, city setting, and dog in a hat don't go with Mario. It takes away from the overall product. ...so I was surprised that I like this game. The story is good. The gameplay is Mario. The difficulty is good. The length is good. Add it all up, and this game is the best one out now on the switch.

So I haven’t really dabbled in a bunch of Super Mario games in a while. The last Mario game I had was MarioKart 8 Original. But this game was on my radar since it was announced. And I’m happy to report it’s awesome! It really harkens back to the classic Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine. While treading new ground like the new “Capture” move. That Mario can do with his pal Cappy in this adventure. And it’s one of the best looking Switch games so far. Like I was amazed to see how much detail there is. So if you are thinking of getting the Nintendo Switch. Definitely buy this game.

The latest Mario game for Nintendo's current generation console is finally out and it's definitely one to check out. It starts out like any other Mario game--Bowser is at it again--but it soon takes to the skies with the introduction of Cappy, your new hat companion. From there, you travel the world, stopping at different lands to right all of Bowser's wrongs. And with Cappy's new capturing ability, navigating and playing as the foe is quite the treat. With new areas to explore and many, many moons to collect throughout, this game has me hooked for hours! Worth your money!

Bought this game so my son would have some fun games for his Nintendo Switch. My wife enjoys playing this game with my son.

Absolutely fantastic, if you're on the fence about it, try it in store or borrow it from a friend. The game has so much to see and do, it's a total blast.
