This isn't your normal Mario 2d platformer as it is a 3d platformer with a semi-open world adventurer game! It has been a lot of fun playing this game as it includes some cool moves Mario can input. The different world settings are also visually pleasing with the addition of awesome characters you'll meet along the way! Because of the game being a semi-open world, I would reccomend playing this game docked on a tv with a controller as it makes the experience much better in my opinion.

I bought the nintendo switch to play this mario and zelda game. It's really fantastic. It was worth every penny. It's much better to buy a cartridge than a game online because when I get tired of this game I can still sell it and buy another unreleased game. It was a great deal.

Mario's latest 3d adventure is amazing! So much game play, hidden Easter eggs and a suckerpunch to the old nostalgia box! Worth every darn penny!

Another Nintendo console generation has arrived - and so has the famous plumber (erm... I think they ditched that recently...). As always - this is a masterfully crafted experience, that is absolutely gorgeous - and sounds equally as good. From forest areas, to sand worlds to even an ice paradise - this game looks great - and shows off what Nintendo's latest hardware can do. The game play is the tried and true Mario formula - but it is ramped up with all of the new Cappy abilities. This game is platforming perfection and comes highly recommended.

Great game for anyone, can be enjoyed by a 6 year old or a 40 year and have the same amount of fun, there’s lots to do and many moons to collect.

Very creative and fun game to play. My son likes to be able to take over other characters with Mario's hat. Being the Dinosaur was really cool!!

I would say this is the best Mario game since Super Mario 64, the charm is there, the platforming is there, and the open world feel is there!

I can't believe the graphics in this game. The story was so fun and creative. I missed playing Mario games, and this hit the spot!

I like the new fell and love Cappy, it is so fun to play it is easy to use and well any Mario game for me has been really enjoyable.

Son is very happy with his present again the packaging wasn’t that good but the game isn’t broken. I just think putting a brand new game into a shipping bag and sending it out that way could cause a lot of bad accidents and upset customers if they received a broken game

Really fun game and is hours of entertainment. Some levels can get difficult but if it was all easy wouldn't be as fun and/or last very long.

This is hands down, one of the best Mario game in the series. Solid controls, big explorable worlds, and the ability to play anywhere you want.

This is a really good game. I just beat the game a little bit ago. There are some difficult parts, but overall it a pretty fun game.

I bought this for my 6 and 10 year old, but I enjoy playing this with my 6 year old. I honestly haven't played many video games since the 90s, but it's so much fun finding the hidden objects and figuring out what to do next. My 6 year old navigates through the game on his own pretty well, but we like to tag team for the big fights. Being able to have one player control Mario and the other player be the hat helps to practice team work and communication.

I have been waiting for years for Nintendo to release a contender to Mario 64. This game exceeds my wildest wishes. It's fun, nostalgic, and entertaining for literally the whole family. My wife even plays it while our 3 year old watches. Did I mention there is are 2D modes as well where you convert to 2D? Such an awesome game. There is a lot that can be done and going through the main story-line took my wife roughly 15 hours, but even once you're done there is still plenty you can do after the end game. I highly recommend this game.
