Some games are must-haves when a new system comes out. For Nintendo, it's always had the triumvirate of Mario, Zelda, and Metroid as those games that are so good, they justify buying the system to play them. This is Super Mario Odyssey, a massive feature-rich adventure to save Princess (yet again!), with a massive array of unique powerups and costumes to wear as you battle through levels, jump through puzzles, while collecting coins and saving everyone from Bowser and his minions!

This is my second Nintendo Switch game (MK8 was first) and I must say this game is complete fun. I haven't played any Mario games since the SNES days and I must say this one is fun. Lots of room to explore but not too much where you get lost too easy. There is assist mode which helps you out with arrows that show you which way to go if you feel you need it. Great colors that remind me of the old days, I still remember getting the NES with Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and the gyro game.

My son and I really enjoy this game. Co-op play is great. I love how nintendo finds ways to constantly improve our beloved games. So far so good. I had not played in quite a few years so I had to get pointers from my 9 year old. But once I caught on we had a blast. We would still be playing but alas work and cooking must still be done. But when I finally get a Rosie of my own (it is 2020) I will spend my days playing this game.

This game is amazing. Reminds me of playing super Mario 64 as a kid. Definitely a must have for every switch owner

Great game but it feels like someone took Mario and recreated it into another game with mostly the same idea ,so it feels like there stretching to try and make a newer better game but getting away from what’s already great about the Mario games, there are some really cool new things about the game that are great but there are things that alienate you from it being a Mario game that just don’t feel like they belong , is it worth buying definitely ,but it will hit you with nostalgia and make question what the creators were thinking when putting the game together..

The grandkid LOVES this. It is hard to say "I'm bored" with this. He plays it with his dad too. He is a big Mario fan!!

One of the best Mario games since Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2. This game is amazing. There is a return to a large hub world that is open to you, almost like the old Delfino Plaza and Peach's Castle in Mario 64. I like this better than the level select options of the Galaxy games. Additionally, Cappy is a unique partner and the first time you take over a T-rex will be very exciting. Overall, this is one of the most fun games I have played in a long, long while.

Ok I wasn’t convinced at first. I didn’t really care for the game at first, I was bummed out because I heard it was the best switch game. I took my switch on vacation with me and during the flights I played super Mario odyssey. I really got into the game, its fun, exciting and something new. I wish maybe there was a separate thing for multiplier because the second person only gets to be a hat. Try this out you won’t regret it.
