If you're a fan of mario than this is the game for you great open world new moves and costumes and so much more to do

Game was fun and has plenty of replay value. Reminds me of the first time I played Mario 64 when that first came out.

Its a great game. It looks great, it controls great. Just about what you expect from Nintendo with their Mario games.

With Sunshine and the Mario Galaxy games, the mission structure of getting each star was very linear. With this game, it goes back to the open sandbox style of gameplay of Mario 64 where you can tackle almost any moon (star) in the area. There's a lot more freedom playing like that. Plus, there are all sorts of advanced tricks and techniques for the advanced player. Absolutely highly recommended as this game will definitely end up in a hall of fame one day. It's that amazing.

Fun game and simple for younger kids to play and explore

It's very fun, a lot of secrets. but can be a little hard for non gamers. Multi player is not very friendly.

It is impossible to play this game without a smile on your face. Very well done, environments are gorgeous (By Nintendo MARIO standards... of course PS4 Pro and Xbone X make these laughable). Game runs smooth as butter in handheld and docked both at 60fps which is a very big deal because it means that I have yet encountered a framrate lul and I have played for hours on end. Impressive game all round manages to pay homage and stay fresh. Best 60 you can spend for the Switch.

I have put 30-40 hours into this game and am not even finished with it. Tons of stuff to do. Lots of fun.

Overall, I enjoyed this traveling adventure with Mario. Most of the worlds were interesting, the game-play was fun, and there were plenty of things to collect for those of us who enjoy such a thing. There were a few things that detracted from my enjoyment though, hence the not-perfect score. While I was able to finish the game, some platforming needed to get optional collectables needed absolute perfect timing (and I am well-past my twitch-reflex prime). Also, some of Mario's moves require motion controls, so if you are using a PowerA or similar controller, these will not be possible. Then there is the Luncheon Kingdom, which I gave up on moon collecting quickly for because of the frikin' lava. So, overall a good game, but you might want to tear your hair out if you try to go for 100% of collectibles.

Very fun game, that is hours of addictive entertainment.

This game is the best mario game in years. So many good feelings when I play. A must play. Hours of content and fun.

We still play Mario on our Super Nintendo. This is an amazing game with an open world concept and great graphics.

Kids and I have been having a lot of fun playing this game. In fact, we finished the main story and are going back to get as many missing "moons" as we can. As the dad I enjoy playing as Cappy helping the kids who play as Mario. Great puzzles and not punishing if you make mistakes as it only costs you ten coins to be back in the action (does not have the traditional number of lives...as long as you have coins you are back an unlimited number of times). Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend you get this game. It's fun new exciting only wish it had a harder mode for better gamers.

One of the best games on the Nintendo Switch. Great graphics and control. Love being able to play on the go!

The absolute best Mario game ever and I really don’t think it’s up for debate. You can easily squeeze a hundred hours out of this game looking for all of the moons in all of the colorful and beautifully animated environments!

Definitely one of the best Mario games to date. I could not stop playing it the 1st day I got it. It is so much fun

Probably my favorite 3d Mario game yet! The controls are incredibly fluid and intricate and there is so much to do.
