I bought this because it was on sale and I had rewards points about to expire. My son played through the game and I asked him what he thought. His response was overwhelmingly positive and he said, “I’d have paid $60 for this game… why did we wait so long to buy it?” Absolutely fun game that is a great spiritual successor to Super Mario 64.

If you like platforming, Super Mario Odyssey is fantastic. And it's great in ramping up the difficulty. The various power moons you can collect are all different difficulties, and it's up to you to choose how hard you want to make things for yourself. You can beat the game simply by doing easy ones, but there are plenty of hard ones to get to (including some you can't find until after the main story is beaten) to keep you playing and keep more skilled players busy.

I got this game as a gift for my nephew for his birthday. He loves it! He plays it all the time and wants me to play with him and be Cappy and his goal is collecting all of the moons… He loves changing the outfits for Mario and dressing him up in different fun things to match the land he’s going to!

This game is crazy good! You can do so many things and brings new meaning to open world with the game play.

This is a must have game for all Nintendo Switch owners. Excellent controls and amazing world to explore.

I haven't had this much fun with a Mario game in years. A true return to form and a must own for the Switch.

This game is just really fun to play. It offers a fair amount of challenge and the controls are super smooth.

This game brings back memories and feelings that only come with the greatest Mario releases. This title is right up there with the best of them: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Mario 64, and Galaxy 1/2. The game mechanics feel fresh and inspiring. I could not put the controller down. Just one more moon.... and then just one more after that... and before you know it, it's been 12 moons and on to the next kingdom. A definite must-buy for all switch owners.

Needed a game to play with my 4 yr old and this one is perfect he can be the hat help out when needed fly around while i can still play the harder parts of the game one of my new old favorites

Nintendo has done it again taking their beloved plumber and once again reworking him into the current time on their newest hardware. I remember when Super Mario 64 blew my mind upon release in 1996 with the then current technology. This game is no different seeing my replaced mind is once again blown with the free-roaming exploration-based levels. The story with Mario and Cappy is a sweet one as they go on their journey throughout the Mushroom Kingdom.

This a must have title for any switch owner. A great and fun entry in the 3d Mario series. The game has a solid pace, ok storyline (its Mario so not surprising there) and the controls are easy to learn and fun to control. This is one of my favorite switch games available and I'm surprised at this point it doesn't come with the system.

Brings back the magic of 3D Mario titles. Designers let their vision go wild. Controls fluidly. Excellent fun.

Nintendo gets it right again. I know the Switch isn't the most powerful console on the market. I own a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, and the Switch is far behind in terms of raw power; however, one thing they get right are their flagship titles and Super Mario Odyssey is no exception. The game looks great, plays smooth, and is a blast to play. Regardless if you are a Nintendo / Mario fan or not, this title is worthy of a play through. Another masterpiece of the Big N!

Fun single and co-opt game. I thought the co-opt game would be limited due to the "half" joystick but was pleasantly surprised to find that even with the minimal half-joystick method, the two of us were able to carry out complex activities. And the game itself is fun and modifies its level of difficulty if the players (newbies like us) are having difficulty. Highly entertaining.

This game is awesome. It is so much fun, anyone who likes video games will love this awesome addition of Mario!

When it comes to Mario games, they have always been a classic to me. This game is family friendly where both my daughter and wife can get into the fun even though it's 2 players. The last game I played that I enjoyed Mario this much was Mario galaxy but this game has more of a unique feel to it being that you use marios cap as a second player. I have already invested over 30 hours since release date and can't wait to complete this game and all it's side quests
