Just when you think Nintendo is done in this industry ... They go and show you why no matter how critical ppl are on whatever new console they come out with, they are still innovative on the new Mario games ..this ladies and gentlemen is a must play for any videogame enthusiast..go and pick up a Nintendo switch (actually has more than a decent library now) because the console is worth it for this game alone !!!

Don't know where to start, this game is phenomenal. An open world feel with lots of exploration to pass the time. Great story line with all the memorable characters one expects to meet in a Mario game. Add amiibo and the ride gets that much better. Definitely a nuance in modern gaming with a splash of just enough nostalgia to tug at any diehard Mario fanboy or girls heart. 10/10 for me and I'm sure for you too.

It seems like everytime Nintendo goes all in to create a new Mario game, they hit it out of the park. Consistently creating a Mario game that is all the same we've seen and played before, yet making it so fresh and new to play we can't help but rack up the hours going through. Speaking of, this is a great bang for buck game, as even when the main story is done, you realize how much more you have to play!

Me and my girl likes the games for 2 players, and so far Odyssey is our favorite on switch(If you're asking across all the platforms then it's It Takes Two). We spent countless nights together, world after world aong with mario and cappy, amazed by the easter eggs buried ahead, money well spent!

I have played a few Mario games over the years but this is by far the most polished and fun. Controls are easy and fluid and the locations and music are just so much fun. It has this whimsical feel to it. Like it just makes me feel like a kid enjoying this game. Definitely a must play for any switch owner.

A lot of different locations, amazing gameplay, a shocking amount of content. A must have.

I haven’t played through the entire game yet but I don’t think that quite matters - from the first minutes, you know you’re in for a treat. This is especially true if you grew up with Nintendo and remember how mind-blowing it was to first play Mario 64. Nintendo rides on nostalgi quite a bit, and they get arguably deserved flack for it, but you can’t deny that they make great games that are just a joy to play.

Controls are awesome, the diversity in the game is incredible, and graphics are amazing

Love the game. Excellent addition to the Mario collection and a solid choice if you had to pick only one game to get. My only gripe (which is not a criticism of the game or Best Buy) is that Nintendo does not let you collect My Nintendo Points on physical copies of games if you purchase them after the first year of its release.

Family fun, puzzles, challenging gameplay on harder difficulties. Overall very enjoyable

I've found past 3D Mario games to be frustrating because I always felt like managing their cameras was more difficult than the gameplay itself. Super Mario Odyssey plays as smoothly as one would expect for a modern 3D platformer, which by itself puts it at the top of the 3D Mario pack. However, I just didn't feel like there was much of a challenge to it. I'm by no means a "hardcore gamer" when it comes to platformers; my skills are average at best. But I blew through this game very quickly and haven't felt particularly compelled to return to it for the extra collectibles and what not that I missed the first time around. It's a great game for younger kids who might be getting their first Mario experience, but somewhat lacking for adult gamers.

This game is awesome... I am an old school primarily SNES fan. I got a NES when they came out I was probably 7 and I have played lots of Nintendo... I love MARIO, but have never been a fan of “new” versions especially that are 3D or outside of the traditional side scroll action. I had to try this and love the switch, I was pleasantly surprised with how well I liked this. I played it a lot.

It's a fun game. The mechanics are neat and the story is fun too.

Five stars. I love odyssey. It's full of fun and hidden objects and endless ways to play the game. Even different ways to beat the game. After you do you will have more to do. I highly recommend it. It's my new favorite Mario game. I love that I can just explore and it's not timed like on a standard Mario game.

Best Mario game ever; best switch game currently; game of the year and then some. Buy it!
