Nintendo is at its best with Mario Odyssey. The fun factor, mix of 3d open world with 2d platforming, and visuals all make this game a gem. I felt like a kid again when using cappy to control different items - the coolest for me being a dinosaur. You won't make a mistake buying Odyssey. The gameplay and fun are pure, unlike of what most games are today. The game will have you smiling.

Father of 3. We all love to play this game over and over - challenging but fun.

100% recommended. From beginning to end, there never came a point where I felt bored. Even after finishing the game, I felt the desire to continue playing to get the things that I miss. Must say the graphics in this game are gorgeous. It's colorful, vibrant, and deep. I highly recommend anyone who is even remotely considering this game to pick it up.

I have been super addicted to this game since I got it. The gameplay is really gun, the colors and textures of the game are incredible. It's really exploratory and creative. They just really see the little details of the game. I would recommend this game to all ages! Also, the two player vs one player gameplay have different benefits. But playing with someone is very interactive and fun!

Warning, please set aside hours of your time before turning on your switch. This game is super fun and may be the best offering since Mario Galaxy. I originally thought the cappy concept wouldn't translate but it does. The world are very original and the gameplay is amazing. The graphics are top notch, and I would say I have a good solid 20 hours of gameplay and have not beat the game.

Such a fun game! Definitely worth getting and getting lost <3. I love super mario games and this one is one is one not to miss. I haven't beat the game just yet but I am getting there.

I haven't played much Nintendo games since the GameCube. I play a lot of PS4 and love the Sony Exclusives. However, I bought a switch just for this game and Zelda and this has to be my favorite game I've played in a long time. It is interesting, fun, and not terribly difficult. Good for a broad range of people and ages. It's great playing both docked and portable. Highly recommended!

The greatest Mario game ever. No debate. It has gotten all the best parts from all previous Mario games and have turned into a great story. You might think it is an easy game but to fully complete the game you will need many many hours and your greatest Mario skills. Strongly recommend an upgraded remote though

I haven’t played a Nintendo anything in years, I’ve been eyeing the switch for awhile and finally decided to buy it. I looked online for best switch games and this one always came up. It’s a fantastic game!! I forgot how fun Nintendo games are, ive been stuck in the Xbox world for awhile and playing those realistic type games. If you don’t own this game buy it now

This game has been so fun for grown up gamers and kids alike. Whether you're a completionist like me looking to track down every last power moon, or you're an 8-year old that just wants to wreak havoc while controlling a t-rex, there's something for everyone in this game.

A lot of fun, I was pleasantly surprised that it has cooperative play. The worlds are more detailed than any mario game previously. I am inpressed with the innovative play. It doesn't really feel like a Mario game though. It almost feels like some other game, then added Mario to it. I am okay with that; there are elements of nostalgic play, like when you go from 3D play to 2D play.

Really reminiscent of Mario64 (for the N64). Love how open world it is as well.

Lets not beat around the bush - Odyssey will go down, along with Breath of the Wild, as this generations defining game, and one of the greatest games ever made. It captures the feeling of joy in a bottle, and it never lets up. I had a smile on my face the entire time playing, and there's a lot to collect, so I'll be playing it still for a long to come. Just buy the game, it's amazing.

This is a great video game, and a fantastic 3D Mario game. The early levels provide a good introduction into the new "Cappy" mechanics, and also the new motion controls on the Switch. It's a pure joy to pick up and explore the environments and discover the moons (the in-game collectible similar to stars or shines in previous entries). If you own a Switch this is a must purchase title.

Mario's first outing on the Switch is phenomenal. The game play is fluid and is right for newbies and veterans alike. The game rewards exploration as well as those who master the more technical moves of the game but you will be able to complete the game as a casual player. Here's hoping that Yoshi, Kirby and Donkey Kong follow in this trend with their first games coming to the Switch.
