I could probably write a few thousand words about how great this game is. As someone who has played every single Mario game to date, I can say without a doubt this one is in my top 3 favorites of all time. It does everything perfectly. I could sit here and list how perfect this game is, but that wastes your time and mine. Buy this if you have a Switch, don't hesitate.

Nice graphics and amazing gameplay cool story and nice worlds

The addition of Cappy is a simple one and yet, it brings such a world of difference to the gameplay. It still has that 3D Mario feel, but you can do a lot of different things with Cappy. My favorite move, for example, is throwing Cappy and diving towards him for a double jump. Once you get the hang of the different tricks, traversal becomes extremely fun.

This will always be one of the top games for the switch. The main campaign took me roughly 15-20 hours and I took my time exploring. There are so much post game content I feel like this will take me another 20-30 hours to complete. This game does have an easy assist mode for little children and my 4 year old loves it. Would recommend to anyone that has a switch.

A fantastic Mario adventure that seemingly never ends to introduce a new mechanic, characters or scenery. Brilliant combines the use of Mario’s hat and environmental elements to allow a player become involved in the entirety of its changing landscapes. Perhaps Homer should’ve changed Ulysses to Mario.

It's been a while since I've played a Mario game - and this game did not disappoint. While my main motivation was to capture as many pictures of Bowser in all his wedding glory, I was really drawn into the game and the worlds created. Sure there were ones that I like more than others, but on the whole, it was amazing. I just need to finish finding all the moons now.

I love the fact it has the classic Mario Bros. sequences in the game. I loved Mario Bros. growing up, and still get thrills when get my hands on playing those sequence. This games gives a modern touch to that classic game. I wish Nintendo had done something to have 2 players play side-by-side. This games has 2 player support, but one can only throw hat or navigate.

Loved every minute of it, solid story, great game play, fun all around.

It's been a long time since a Mario game has wowed me like Super Mario Odyssey has. Maybe not since Mario 64 has Nintendo released a Mario adventure so fun, deep, and complete. It's a great game that wills you to explore, try new things, and to just keep playing. And being able to take it with you via the Switch is just the cherry on the sundae. Don't miss this game.

This game should be a part of every game library! It's easy enough to play but challenging enough to hold your interest for extended periods of time. The game has the classic elements of all Mario games but it also contains enough unique content to be a new and current game.

I have owned and played every 3d Mario game that has been released and this one is my favorite so far. I love that you can take control of characters and use them to access areas you wouldn't be able to otherwise. Its very handy and nice. Great creativity in keeping the Mario brand alive, new, and refreshed. Great game!

I haven't played a Mario game in forever and definitely didn't regret buying this. I'm not great at 3D platformers but have been enjoying my time playing Odyssey because it caters to all crowds. There's a lot of flexibility in how you can play the game and it lets me (pretend to) be skilled in my approach or use other options to get to a Power Moon. Love this game!

Very fun game easy to play doesnt take much skill or focus

This game is great for both gaming beginners and veterans alike. The number of worlds is large without being overwhelming. The number of moons to collect are enough to make this game last over 100 hours (if you don’t cheat by using YouTube). Works well in handheld and docked, though it does have psuedo motion controls that don’t work well with the joycons attached.

Addictive and simple. Lots of Easter eggs and love put into this game.

Nintendo never disappoints, great graphics, gameplay, and easy to play

This is the best Mario game! The graphics are great. The music is well done. And even youngsters can navigate their way thru the worlds. My 5 year old grandson loves this game. I would recommend this to anybody that likes get lost in a game for the afternoon with family and just have fun!

My favorite switch game so far. This has to be the most fun I have had with any Mario game since N64! You can take control of a Trex and lots of other creatures you throw your hat at. Nintendo really outdid themselves with this one. Numerous areas that are hidden and alot of throwbacks to the classic Mario days. So much fun! I would buy a Switch just for this game!
