This game is what most fans of 3D mario wanted, this game is very entertaining to play through and there are some areas where its very tough (optional) it can get a bit repetitive but thats after you beat the game and try to go for every single moon, the whole story mode is a blast to go through

This has all the features of a great Mario game. It has the exploration and collection features of a great Zelda game with the nostalgia of original Mario (NES) and Mario 64, but this is a new and great Mario experience. I've put in about 30 hours so far. One of the single greatest games I've ever played.

My son really likes the Nintendo switch and this game was a hit!! His older siblings, friends, and we his parents enjoy playing it too! Great graphics! Fun game! It puts a new twist on the original Mario game. Not worried about the content as it is family friendly. Easy to play, but also challenging!

I knew I needed to get Odyssey after Nintendo's E3 trailer of the game. Having played all prior Mario games (with the exception of Galaxy 2), it was a given that I would eventually play this. The controls had a small learning curve in learning how best to control Mario, especially with cap jumps, but once you get it down, this is one of the most fluid movements of Mario yet. Many of the worlds are expertly crafted, just big enough to enjoy exploring, but not overwhelmingly so. Like many Mario games, you're not playing for the gripping story, but for the tight gameplay. The story is just enough to help push the game along and enjoy the vibrancy of the worlds. It's the first Mario game in a while where I wanted to 100% the game on my first playthrough and I did just that. For someone looking to max out the game, there's certainly enough to do with 50-100 purple coins per world, 999 power moons, and the various outfits to collect. This should be a staple game for any Switch owner that's a fan of classic platforming Mario.

One of the best games to play on the Nintendo switch and a must have for the collection. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for something fun and yet still mario nostalgia at its best. Pick this game up you will not be disappointed.

Mario is definitely back with this game. My brother and I play this game on our free time and it makes for a fun gaming session. The open-world style really promotes full exploration which gives the game lots of depth. The storyline is also very entertaining for kids and adults alike!

Such a great game with so much replayability. Mario games like this are great for all ages.

For Mario fans everywhere, this is a great new version that pits Mario against Bowser. For younger audiences, this game is easy to understand and provides a good challenge. For older Mario fans, you will not be disappointed by the graphics and the new worlds. Overall I really recommend, Mario Oddessey.

Son is very happy with his present again the packaging wasn’t that good but the game isn’t broken. I just think putting a brand new game into a shipping bag and sending it out that way could cause a lot of bad accidents and upset customers if they received a broken game

I bought 2 of these games, one for my grandson and one for myself. He hasn't played his yet but I'm sure he will enjoy it. I had a couple of chances to play and I can tell it is going to be a lot of fun. It incorporates parts of the 2D Super Mario games from the past which I thought was kind of cool.

Family Mario game for Switch one. Kids loved it as well as grown ups.

Driver was awesome. Wasn’t happy that it took 4 days to get here. Prime members are supposed to get it in two. It was a huge present for my 7 year old grandson who slept in his own bed for a week ordered it Four days early so he would get it on time. Didn’t work out that way, very disappointed. He stood by the door forever..

This game is packed with fun and puzzles. You can breeze through the game by acquiring the minimal number of moons. However, acquiring all moons can be challenging sometimes. Once you learn how to do stunning moves, it feels like a new game and you can solve the same task with different approaches.

I recently beat this game 100% and I enjoyed every moment of it. I had a smile on my face from beginning to end. Nintendo has made a masterpiece here and if it weren't for Zelda Breath of the Wild also coming out Mario Odyssey would be my game of the year. If you own a Switch, you need this game.

Great game with great graphics. Open world feel with a lot of places to explore.

Bought this for the boyfriend for Christmas, but actually have had my own copy for two years. Love the game.. except the level I’m stuck on. Maybe the boyfriend will get there and get us past it.

I bought a Switch pretty much for the sole purpose of playing this game, and it did not disappoint. The level design across the entire game is incredible, and the game uses the new addition of Cappy in amazing ways to provide new, creative puzzle solving and platforming mechanics that I didn't think were possible before this game. I beat the main story in about 10 days of playing for hours on end, and have been spending a lot of time collecting as many moons as I can post-main story. After you beat the game, even more moons are added to the previous worlds, providing a great incentive for people that love collecting everything. I've got about 300 moons so far after putting a TON of hours in, and there are still another 500 to go to 100% the game! You need 500 moons to get the real ending as well, and this game keeps giving you reasons to come back and get to that goal! This game is a must-have for any Mario/Nintendo fan, and should be the first game you pick up when you get a Switch.

Amazing game, beautiful story, great graphics endless fun

This is up there with Super Mario Galaxy as my favorite Mario ever. Has so much diverse gameplay, great level design, beautiful visuals, and it's tons of fun. You can play this game for a while and not get bored, and there's tons to do and mess around with. One of the best Switch games PERIOD.

I can see why this tops most gaming blogs’ lists. This a great adventure from start to finish with some throwback mini Mario games along the way. Great graphics and story. Skill levels range from easy to addictively challenging. Very rewarding to finish this Odyssey. Definitely recommend.
