This is an interesting twist on a game I’ve lived for decades. Fun and exciting. I like the nods to the older 80 versions here and there. Definitely a lot of fun.

It's been a while since I've played a Mario game, but Odyssey is phenomenal. I could barely put it down. The game consistently introduces novel experiences and gameplay mechanics throughout given all the different forms that Mario takes thank to Cappy (the hat). Between that and varied worlds you visit, it's continuous fun. My only nitpick is what motion controls are forced on the player to some degree, but can't say that warrants a reduction in stars... (speaking of which, you'll mostly be collecting moons in this game ^_^ )

Excellent platforming. Multiple charming worlds. One of my favorite games of all time. This game right here is what made me a Nintendo fan.

Super entertaining. Bought it for my 3 yr old but its still too much for her, so i ended up playing it the most. Great graphics & storyline

This is definitely a fun game and if you have a switch you need to play it! You can beat it in less than a week, but youre trying to get it to 100% than its gonna be awhile

It did not win game of the year but it did for the fans of nintendo. This is an absolute epitome of what Nintendo has been doing for years which is creating memories.

I bought this game thinking that it would just entertain my little cousins over thanksgiving, but I was pleasantly surprised when it was able to entertain me and my friends. Definite buy

Mario is very good for few weeks and within few weeks you will able to navigate all levels and not find enough challenged after sometime. It becomes very repetitive and mundane. So people who will play occasionally are good with game.. but people like me who play everyday are not being challenged in the game and so you might lose interest after some point.. Overall good time and excites for 2-3 weeks.. after interest dies down

An immersive gaming experience, my kids and I have sadly spent way too much time exploring each kingdom and chasing coins, moons and regional currency. We can’t wait for Yoshi to drop!

Super Mario Odyssey is the second best game of 2017 and one of the most accessible Mario games of the last fifteen years because its primary "story" is rather easy to complete. Pretty much anyone who has a hankering for some run, jump and capture will have a blast on Mario's odyssey. Better yet, the game opens up to a whole new world of exciting and more difficult challenge when you're done with that. Want to stop there? You can, and you'll feel like you got your money's worth. Want more? Keep going for hours more! Super Mario Odyssey will continue to be a game that sells the Switch for years to come as people come to find it. It really is that good.

Nothing much can be said other than you'll have a great time, mario fan or not. This game put a smile on my face all the way through, and there's still much to do after the credits roll.

Super Mario Odyssey is a great, grand adventure with great graphics, surprises around every corner and is always fun! New modes make it even better - don't pass on this game!

By far the Best 3D Mario title i’ve Ever played. It’s simple to learn the controls— move, throw hat, jump and ground stomp— but as you take control over enemies, you learn new powers to unlock hidden areas, find new ways to collect moons and defeat bosses. The boss fights are very simple, relying on hitting boss 3 times (every boss is this way), but some of the fights later on get more challenging. The real challenge of the game is the exploration. Finding the 800 moons in the game is a fun challenge and make sure for the most excitingly collect-a-thon on the Switch. If you own a Switch, there are two games that everyone must buy— Zelda and this game.

Great game! has alot of familiarities towards Super Mario Galaxy from back in the day with better graphics. still currently playing it but it is ALOT of fun!

This game is a lot of fun. I play through it with my wife controlling Cappy. The levels are open for exploration, so it's a nice callback to earlier 3D Mario games. Music is fantastic.

I really loved this game. The graphics were very awesome and clear. This game should be purchased by anyone that would like to have some fun gaming anytime of the day or night.

For what I am looking for in a game, this had everything I could have hoped for. Super Mario Odyssey stays true to the feeling of the Mario games we love, through dozens of small homages to past games, while still throwing new goals and mechanics around every corner. The main story doesn't take the as many hours to complete as many other AAA games, but each kingdom holds enough secrets to find and places to explore that, on multiple occasions, my wife and I have sat down and played for hours without needing to move the story forward at all. If you are a fan of Mario and are looking for a jolly, heartwarming game, you should definitely pick this one up.

This game is fun to play with my son. I️ loved the NES Mario games. I️ feel like this takes the fun things about the original games and updates the graphics and sound. Really fun game!

So much replay value. Many moons to get. Once you think you are finished with a level, you are not because there are many more moons to find. Can get frustrating but it’s worth it.
