This is a really fun game to play! I love Mario games and this one has elements of the old school 2D game thrown in here and there. My 9 y/o loves it as well and is able to play without getting too frustrated.

Love it! It's a lot of fun if you enjoy the open world nature of these tiny worlds. There's secrets around every corner... The 2D gameplay is my absolute favorite probably because I grew up with the NES.

Mario is a classic and this game is nothing less than what is necessary for a classic game! It has enough free roam, puzzles, bosses, and replay value for many styles. I love searching for the moons & puzzles while my boyfriend prefers the challenge of the bosses!

Fun game to play. Kinda trippy to Mario change up , but it keeps it fresh and fun. Got it on sale which is rare for switch games .

Beautifully done game that any Mario fan will enjoy. I am no where near completion, but am enjoying the journey of the character. The game is challenging enough that it keeps you engaged, but not so challenging that it is frustrating. Highly recommend this game.

This is probably my favorite Mario game since Super Mario 64, the exploration is so much fun & I loved the excitement of seeing what each new kingdom held. I expected a bit more of a hub world, because of how it was marketed but all together it’s a fantastic game

My Grandson loves the Super Mario Odyssey, he can't wait to get to his dad's house so he could play with it.

I could go on for days about Mario Odyssey, but the only thing that you need to know is that it is possibly the greatest platforming game of all time. If you remember the feeling you got when you first started playing Mario 64 (if you're as old as I am) then you should know that you will get that seem feeling in the first 30 minutes of Odyssey. The game never stops changing - with the ability to transform into your enemies through your hat (Cappy), every kingdom feels like an entirely new game with new gameplay mechanics. The pick up and play style of the Switch combined with portability means that any time you want to go searching for one the EIGHT HUNDRED moons in the game, you can turn it on and spend 15 minutes collecting and then go right back to what you were doing. This is something that just has to be experienced, and you will be entranced, captivated, and amazed up until the very end.

Best game since Mario Galaxy. Just buy it. The difficulty feels just right, challenging without being frustrating with plenty of replay value. All kinds of secrets/collectibles to find. The only con I can think of is that there weren't more levels..

I love Mario, played it since I was a child. This game is amazing with graphics, game play, and cute costumes. I also love the fact they mix old school with new school (you’ll see what I mean when you get it) it’s a must have for any Mario fan.

New version of a classic… great gameplay with different worlds. If you’ve played mario in the past its a must!

I was starting to get burnt out on Zelda so when I got Odyssey for Christmas, I was really excited. The game has not disappointed at all and I love that there is no timer or lives so you can explore without consequences. One of my favorites of all time so far!

I was reluctant to purchased another game system form Nintendo after the wii u. I took a chance on the switch and I have been happy purchased Zelda then Mario both games are excellent and my 10 old son can play them also. One of the best Mario games since Galaxy

Nintendo Switch seem to be the console to have in 2017 and Super Mario Odyssey is now the game to have with the console. Great game play for any age. Something for everyone even hardcore gamers. Must buy if you own or are getting the Nintendo Switch for someone.

This game is amazing and beyond beautiful. Nintendo finally made a Mario game as good if not better than Mario 64! Getting use to using your hat takes a little time but after you get it down the games fun never ends. This game alone is worth getting the switch.

My son (8) is just beginning to play games on his own and so far he is really enjoying this and has been able to play through to the end of the game, and still wants to go back for more

This is a great game for all ages! My son was so excited to finally be able to play this game. Mario is definitely one I.P. that you cannot go wrong with and you'll be entertained for hours upon hours.

This game has been a lot of fun for the kiddos and the parents. It's got great graphics and cool storyline. Hours of playing time if you just want to complete the story and even more for total 100% game completion. Great single player game. Enjoy.

This is a phenomenal game. It really is. It takes a little while to get into to it, but once you do... you don't want to put it down. All the way around this is an amazing game. If you have the switch pro controller, you will appreciate this game even more!
