Very fun game. Lots to explore! A must buy game!!!

This game ranks in my top 3 of best Mario games every made. Probably in my top 20 of best games ever made period. The gameplay is varied and they have added lots of new things to do. Graphics look amazing, and the colors look beautiful. The game really pushes the Switch hardware. It also runs great in handheld mode to go. If you loved Mario 64/Sunshine/3D World then you will probably love this game too!

First, i am a big nintendo fan, but was never into the 3D Mario games. I barely remember Sunshine on Gamecube, and never played Mario Galaxy. However, my wife and I have been playing this game non stop. The co op is great-a less experienced gamer (or experienced) can have fun as Cappy and the other can play as Mario! There is tons to do, and (possible spoiler?) more things unlock after you beat the game

I love this game! I just bought the nintendo switch last month amd with that i bought three mario games. Mario rabbits, Mario kart 8 amd Mario Odyssey. This is the latest Mario series game. It is so much fun and entertaining. If you own a nintendo switch, this is definitely a must have video game. This game and Mario kart 8 are my favorite. This is one of the main reason i bought the nintendo switch!

I was skeptical about this Mario game before playing it. Before being released it just had some stuff I didn't think was Mario. Well Nintendo does a nice job of making it feel like Mario. I love how the game feels small and big at the same time and has that Mario 64 feel to it with open levels. It's pretty much the same great gameplay you expect from a first party Nintendo game with some new twists.

Awesome game! My son and I enjoy playing together. I remember playing Super Mario brothers when I was his age (8 years old). Technology has changed a lot, I can honestly say I love the quality and clarity. All the different worlds you go into and being able to change outfits just blows me away. Finding power moons and away!

This game is the perfect example of how wonderful Super Mario games can be! The game looks gorgeous, plays beautifully, and there's a lot of fun to be found. The game is massive in itself and it's really fun playing on TV and then taking it with you. I was hooked for a solid three weeks before finally finishing the game. This is the perfect family game as well. This is a must own title for the Switch!

This game does what BOTW did to the Zelda series. It reinvented what it meant to be a Mario game in the best possible way. It is a bit easier than I would've liked especially compared to Zelda, but the fun is in the exploration and amazing world they built. The capture mechanic alone is worth the price of admission, and it made me throw Cappy at everything imaginable. MUST BUY for anyone with a switch.

Great fun and nostalgia. A lot to do after beating game. You won't regret purchasing.

I've really enjoyed Mario Odyssey so far. If you loved Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine this game is for you. The new ability to possess an enemy and use their abilities is great! No launch day bugs that I noticed and the quality that I have come to expect from a Nintendo game. My family and I have enjoyed many hours of this game to date. I would highly recommend this game to anyone that has a Switch.

I grew up playing all the old school Mario games. I always loved the quest style games the best. This game takes me back, but offers MUCH better graphics/features than the games from the past. Actually moving the controllers for some of the features (like spinning a hat around as a weapon, etc.) takes some getting used to, but makes the game more interactive. I definitely recommend it!

This game has all the charm and amazing platforming as all the previous titles before it. Once again Nintendo has has been able to pull out mario and dust him off with a new shiny coat and paint make a wonderful game that is fun for the whole family. My five year old loves the two player. He plays the hat, I control mario. If you love Mario, get this. If your not than still get it. It's a great game.

The graphics are great, a lil different from the past marios but still is fun to play!

It’s a fun game that I ended up playing more than the person I bought it for.

Gave my 25 year old daughter a Nintendo Switch and this game for Christmas. It hasn't left her side except for when she is gone to work. When she gets up she plays it and again when she gets home. She isn't sure about 2 player mode being 1 person is Mario and 2nd is the hat but I'm sure she will get used to it once she has someone else who can play it with her. So far she thinks it is a great game

Everything about Super Mario Odyssey screams "Remember how great Mario 64 was? Here's it multiplied by a hundred!" Worlds are colorful, unique, and provide their own challenges, though not a challenging game. Power Moons (Odyssey's equivalent to Stars) are a lot more plentiful, but that doesn't mean all of them are easily obtained. There's no reason not to own this game if you're a Switch owner.

What a great game. I love playing it and watching other people play. This is a game that the Switch needed and for me it did not disappoint. The gameplay feels solid, the old school additions I enjoyed a lot because I am and older that they grew up on NES games. I am having a lot of fun playing this in my off time. I am going to cut down on some other games time to play this as much as possible.
