Mario arrives on Switch and he's never looked or played better. The gameplay harkens back to the exceptional "Mario Galaxy" games on Wii as well as the original 3D Mario game, "Super Mario 64". There's so much to do in the game, so many areas to explore. You'll keep playing just to see what may lie around the next corner.

This game is not only the best game this year, but also the best Mario game of all time. The kingdoms are perfectly sized playgrounds for the great movement system and new "capture" feature introduced. There is a ton of content packed into each world and there are extra incentives to keep playing even after beating the game.

I am so excited about this game, there are so many different ventures to take and so many moos to find. The future you go the harder it is to get the moons, it is so challenging and fun to explore. I gave it 5 stars, it is a must to buy.

This edition of Mario Bros. blends old style and new style of gaming. Although some adults may find this game to be too easy, there is plenty of exploration and entertainment for the newer generations.

I an new to the switch, however, not to the Mario series. I have to say that this game is a blast to play. This game takes me back to my childhood when games were not extremely challenging, and they were extremely fun to pick up and play. The game looks beautiful and is easy to pick up for a few minutes at a time and play.

It's an awesome game, not too complicated for younger people and not too easy for older people. Great game mechanics and beautiful graphics. The gameplay is super fun and using motion controls makes it even better. I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves Mario or even if they don't I still would.

This is an amazing game. As a kid I had played Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64 and it was one of my favorite childhood memories. Playing this game brought back a wave of nostalgia and fond memories of my past. I greatly recommend this game to anyone who grew up in the 90’s that spent many nights playing the Nintendo 64.

Pros Tons of powerups Boss fights are great. They're tough enough for just about anyone to enjoy. Lots of stuff left to do once you beat the story. Great graphics on the big screen and in handheld mode. File size isn't as big as you'd think (5.6 gigs), so you'll have tons of space left on your switch if you download it.

In my opinion, this is the best Mario game of all time. My 11 year old son says it just is the best game he has ever played. I’ve had them all and there has been many great ones over the many years since Mario first appeared on the NES. The release of this game makes owning a Switch even more worthwhile than it already was.

Nintendo has really outdone themselves here, creating a platforming experience that feels like a seamless combination of the open environments of Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine and the tight, focused level design of Mario Galaxy. Movement is accessible yet complex, and there's plenty of content here to keep you coming back for more. My only gripe is the motion controls. Most of them have a button input, but some, such as throwing your hat upwards, have no alternative, and a lot of the time if I try doing a motion input, there's a delay or the game misreads it as a different gesture. Even for the motion controls that do function properly, it's difficult for me to do them while playing the game in handheld mode.

Fun Game !!!! One of thr first games i have bought for the Switch and it is fun and a enjoyable time . also i did not expect to have it store delivered to my house a hour after i ordered it online . and you can't beat 39.99 for this game .

This is by far one of my favorite Mario games! So had to make sure to pick it up when it was on sale!

Mario Odyssey is a perfect addition to the mario collection. It's an evolution to the series and draws on the gameplay mechanics of Mario 3D world and Mario Galaxy. The graphics is gorgeous and looks great in handheld mode too. The controls are tight and responsive. Highly recommend to any gamers and especially Mario fans!

Every time Nintendo releases a Mario themed game, they do it right. I've been playing these since Donkey Kong where he was introduced as "Jumpman". This game is extremely enjoyable with the right amount of challenge to keep me coming back everyday for more play!

Game is very vibrant and graphics are phenomenal. Mario Odyssey is easy to learn but requires skill to master. Really like the puzzle aspects of the gameplay, keeps you thinking. Large unique worlds and secret places to discover. Never boring each level keeps you on your toes.

As creative as Mario Galaxy was, I love the gameplay mechanics of this new adventure. I've always loved Mega Man for the ability to acquire your enemies' weapons, and Odyssey takes that to another level. If you know nothing about this game, your hat gives you the ability to become several of the enemies in the game, as well as objects in the environments. This means that the gameplay is constantly changing as you discover all of the many transformations available to you. Discovering each one is necessary to discover the hundreds of moons located throughout the 16 worlds that you can travel between. Collecting some moons are necessary to finish the story, but the rest get you exploring every inch of the maps. They're not just scattered about like most collectibles in games, but most are hidden behind specific tasks that must be completed or secret locations that must be discovered. Just when you think you've found them all in a level and there can't possibly be anymore, you can check a list that shows there are still twenty left to find. Everything about this game is clever, and the gameplay does not get stale.

Fun game for the Nintendo Switch. Mario is the man!

My son received this item for xmas and loves it. he is a gamer and his first love is mario but playing xbox online with his friends consumes most of his gaming time. despite that he has made his way back to the switch to play this game more and more. as a parent i appreciate a family friendly game with levels and goals.

Pure Mario fun, lots of creative levels. Kids and adults can enjoy this great game. The levels get harder as the game progresses. Having a Peach and Mario amiibo makes the game easier. The Luigi's Ballon Chase game that you unlock after beating the first part of the game is a great addition to an already great game.

Fun game. Nice graphics.The city level is the best.
