Nintendo normally delivers when it comes to Mario games and Super Mario Odyssey is another example of gaming excellence. The level designs are phenomenal and the controls are great. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone that has a Nintendo Switch!

What I have done to receive the privilege to experience this game is beyond me. This game is an absolute masterpiece and is a must have for switch owners. Main game is shorter than most games, but the journey is far from over. The amount of content the game holds is insane for a $60 game, it actually feels like a steal. Almost All of the worlds are filled to the brim with creativity, and innovates from the standard Mario level types seen in some of his less impressive games. Controlling Mario has never been more precise, and movement is extremely fluid and the high amount of moves Mario has at his disposal turns the game into an even more free sandbox to explore. Honestly, do yourselves a favor and get this game, the only drawback to this is the amount of time out of your day the game's gonna take. But those hours will be some of the most enjoyable you'll experience in a while.

This has all the features of a great Mario game. It has the exploration and collection features of a great Zelda game with the nostalgia of original Mario (NES) and Mario 64, but this is a new and great Mario experience. I've put in about 30 hours so far.

These switch games can be awesome as this one is. You cannot go wrong with Mario he has been around since I was a kid. This is also very easy for my 5 year old to play which is what I was looking for.

This game is unique and very fun. I havent played a mario game like this since super mario sunshine. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for something new and fun.

Seriously, I've owned every Mario game since the original. Mario World, Mario 64 and then Mario Sunshine felt revolutionary to me. This is the next jump forward. It plays flawlessly and has so much content, 10 hours in and I've barely scratched the surface.

This game is great. You can’t help but smile while playing it. So much attention to detail has been put into this game. The controls are tight, although I wasn’t to fond of the motion controls. Amazing game over all. If you own a switch this is a must buy.

Super Mario Oddysey is an endlessly enjoyable entry into the long-running Mario franchise. The new cap mechanic offers such creative level design, the likes of which I've rarely seen before. If you have a Nintendo Switch, this is definitely a must buy.

It's Mario, so I dont think you can expect anything but a great game. From start to finish, I was blown away. The worlds each have their own life, and the open world aspect is an amazing touch. This is probably the best game since 64.

Game is a little short you can prolly beat it in 10-15 hrs. But that’s far from being a con. That game play is just like any Mario N64. I was in it for the nostalgia and the memes, but the game was fun! Worth every penny and it’s for all ages! Love it!

Its an absolute must-have for the Switch! Great controls, amazing music, wonderful graphics and of course fantastic whimsical worlds. The mid and end-game world sets are particularly fantastic and there is a lot to do after the main game is done as well.

game is so good my wife actually sits and watches me play. game is great, i wasnt too crazy about Cappy a fetching hat. but ended up loving the idea and Cappy. graphics and sound are great controls are good. camera can be a little bothersome, not awful.

Not very challenging or groundbreaking IMO, but nintendo put together an open world Mario game that is fun to play for all ages, without becoming too redundant. Being able to "possess" different enemies/creatures/objects in each area, and make use of their unique abilities, helps keep the game fresh and makes exploring each area more enjoyable. My only real complaints would be that much of the control mechanics appear to be built around the motion controls, while the traditional control alternatives seem to have been implemented as an afterthought, making some of the new "cap" mechanics impractical... so, playing in handheld mode can be a little bit limiting, unless you don't mind shaking your system all around. Overall, a solid game.

absolute must play if you own a switch or switch 2! in credible game

It feels a touch ridiculous to even bother reviewing this game, since it has received nothing but adoration from the press. Still, I think it's worth adding my 2 cents: if you enjoy the simple act of moving a character through a 3D space, this game will be perfect for you. It surprises with new, inherently fun and tightly designed challenges at every opportunity. It avoids being off-putting for newcomers by teaching the basic well and permitting a player to proceed through the main game by obtaining only a small number of collectibles in each area; more 'hardcore' players will find quite a bit of depth, though, as they keep coming back for the harder goals. The game even has a hidden 'achievement' system that tracks when the player has accomplished specific tasks. All in all, it's one of the best entries in one of the game medium's most reliable franchises.

Really fun game and a must have for a switch owners. You can't go wrong with this title at all. Go Mario!

came in great quality and its a game ive 100 percent completed twice

This is a wonderful return to open world Mario games. It's absolutely gorgeous and while the storyline itself is short, there's a ton of stuff to do. There are also clever references from Mario games past that really add a feel of nostalgia to the game.
