Def fun game - enjoy the two player option as you work to make progress

Lots of fun. Main game can be fully experienced by players of all skill levels. Really opens up once the main game is complete. Many different environments to explore, tight controls/movement, and excellent music. Highly recommended.

I waited too long to pick this up. Super Mario Odyssey is a fantastic game with all the wonderful worlds you can imagine. The mechanics with the hat work really well, and all of the mechanics in the game are so integrated into the core experience. It doesn't feel like anything was added as a last minute decision. The controls are normally very tight, but I did have the infrequent problem of jumping in the wrong direction or having to move the camera to see where I needed to go. It's a small issue, but it makes collecting some of the moons more difficult. That aside, it is great on the Switch, and I can play it on my TV or take it with me. If you like Mario or you are looking for a superb game, this will be great for adults or kids who want to have fun.

Excellent edition to the Mario collection! A very unique and new approach to the property. Very engaging for beginner players yet has plenty of hidden things for seasoned veterans.

Bought this game for our 5 year old. He’s been watching friends play and asked for it for Christmas from Santa. Very easy for him to play and great graphics. He enjoys it and I enjoy watching him play!

The first true 3D Mario that has redefined itself since the Galaxy series was released. Mario is the king and he’s back with a game that is sure to be held in the hearts of gamers all over. It’s hard to play and not smile at the same time, unless you’re subjecting yourself to the game’s tougher challenges which will undoubtedly make you question your gluttony for punishment. Kids will love the bright colors and whimsical setting while older gamers will be attracted to that special blend of heart and soul only Nintendo games are known for. If you are a part of the surging population of people buying a Switch then you owe it to yourself to own this game. There is no question Mario Odyssey belongs in every Switch owner’s library and will likely be the bar for all 3D Mario games to meet going forward.

The different worlds are beautiful and imaginative. Many things to collect- you can easily sink 50hrs into this game. I love the open world for Mario. The costumes are great and are fun to dress in.

I’ve never experienced an open Mario game before so this was totally cool I do say it might be just a tad hard for non gamers like me or for better terms beginner gamers.

Mario Odyssey feels like a sequel to Mario 64, it explores many different worlds with tons of hidden things to find and the controls feel very tight. If you have a switch you should pick this up it is one of the best games in years.

I do really enjoy the 3D Mario adventures and so far this one has been great. The learning curve is low and the controls are easy to master. The visuals are good and so far the story has been entertaining. A must for a Switch owner.

this is actually the second copy I owned because I plan to get it graded but the game is incredibly fun and a must have for anyone with a switch :)

Being a gamer who grew up with the evolution of video games, Super Mario Odyssey rekindles the feelings of wonderment I got when playing Super Mario 64 back in the 90's. You're thrown into the action after a brief opening movie, and from there, you get the basic grasp of gameplay pretty quickly: run around the environment collecting Power Moons for your damaged airship. But throughout the game, you constantly make new discoveries as to Mario's abilities, how to find Power Moons, how to obtain Power Moons, and how to get around the game world. Every time I go to a new area, I see something that makes me smile and say, "That's clever!" Plain and simple, this is one of the best games available on modern video game systems, and one that will surely go down as one of the best of all time.

Very fun but easy Mario game. Buy this if you like to explore in an open game. From becoming a T-rex, a fish under water, to bullet bill, there are lots of fresh new things to do. I even have fun playing with 2 players as cappy.

Yes, it’s true Nintendo has done it again by keeping this ageless Mario vs Bowser-rescue the princess theme alive and strong. In this version you’ll use ALL the features of your new switch, plus the added twist of a 2nd player joining you as Mario’s hat or (alternate item) At first glance it sounds silly, right? Think again, it’s ingenious how much a 2nd player can help you take advantage of levels to achieve mission success. Also, allowing you to reach hidden items you never could reach on your own. The story mode was easy to defeat, approximately 8-10 hours total. Nintendo compensated for this by adding addicting challenges and items to find as you revisit all the Oddesey Worlds you’ve unlocked. This is a must have game for any gamer, and fan of this never dying franchise. Happy gaming!

We love this game! It has amazing graphics and the story line is great. I absolutely love the new feature where you throw his hat and become the other characters it just makes for hours of fun for kids and adults alike.

If you ever been a fan of the Great Mario games, you would really like this game! There is just so much to do just think of Mario 64 and all the stuff you could do in that and times that by a insane amount and that’s were your at!

Nintendo does it again with Mario. This game delivers on that sense of wonder that video games sometimes lack. It’s very colorful, musically inspired and controls perfectly. I highly recommend it as a must for switch owners.
