This brings back so many memories of playing the original version and the great N64 version. This is by far one of the best games out for this system.

Best Mario since Mario 64. The different ways to play each level will keep you busy for hours on end. Very easy to pick up and play for a short time.

Does what every Mario game has done in the past and more. The controls are tight and precise, the stages are creative, gameplay is fun. Would recommend

Another great open world Mario installment. Perhaps a little easier than Super Mario 64 since they kind of guide you towards the goals, but still fun.

Best game so far for the Nintendo switch. HUNDREDS of Moons to collect (replaces stars) and will keep you busy for hours. My girlfriend and I love it!

Super Mario Odyssey does not disappoint at all. Although I'm probably only 4 or 5 hours into it at this point of writing this review I definitely think that anyone who owns a Switch needs to play this game. Immediately after starting this game it brought back memories of Super Mario 64 on the N64. Odyssey is updated, fresh, and modern, but keeps some of the same feelings and love that Super Mario 64 brought. The game isn't overly challenging to the point that I've reached but has been a blast to play. This will be the game that defines what the Switch can do.

Super Mario Odyssey does absolutely everything right. The fluidity of the gameplay is amazing, and the new hat mechanic works very well. Great story.

The first video game I ever played was Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES, I was 3 years old and the year was 1995. Needless to say, I've been playing Mario games for a long time... Super Mario Odyssey is the pinnacle of Mario games. This game changes up the generic formula while honoring its predecessors in a great way. The fan service in this game is ridiculously good. I spent about 12-13 hours playing before I beat the story mode (not going to lie, most of those hours were spent just messing around in New Donk City). I can't recommend this game enough.

Tons of fun to play this game. There is so much to it that I am actually thinking of buying a strategy guide just to be sure to experience all of it.

I bought a digital copy of this game. The purchase was straightforward and very easy. After the purchase I received instructions through email that easily walked me through Redeeming the activation code. I bought this game thinking my wife would love it since she is the primary switch user. She hardly has the switch in her hands since we got Mario Odyssey. I have loved playing this game! It is a beautiful looking game but the play style and creativity of the Worlds and levels are what really makes this game special.

With the outstanding quality of Mario games in the past 20 years from Sunshine to Galaxy to 3D World, it seems unbelieveable that Odyssey can outclass them all but that's exactly what it does. Breaking new ground for the series and for the genre is Mario Odyssey's bread and butter, and smooth, unique gameplay goes a long way in providing the pure joy I haven't felt since the days of playing Mario 64 with my dad as a toddler. This is a game to define a generation and provide that experience to many a new gamers that makes them fall in love with the medium.

Very easy game but still fun to play through. Lots of fun areas and Cappy techniques to learn. Must own on switch.
