I had a friend who bought this game when it first came out and I got to play it for a bit. And I thought it was so fun! I got a Switch this last Christmas and when I saw this on sale I immediately bought it! I haven’t played all the way through yet but I have a had great time and so has my Husband! It’s a fun take on the Super Mario games and we both already want to play it through again when we finish! Love this game!

Not going to lie, I was so hyped for this game due to everyone's hype and I'm glad I decided to join the hype train because I fell in love with the world in SMO. I grew up without a Nintendo console(s) so this was my first official dive into the world of Nintendo. I could tell they incorporated a little bit of each Mario game and blended everything together to create this gem. Even though I suck at platforms, I had fun despite failing hard some times. Would recommend this game for all ages. Also great for co-op as well!

One of the best Mario games I've played. The main story felt kinda short but I was amazed at how much there is to do after beating it.

Wow the story and the things you can do in this game are endless I usually get distracted from story mode and start to explore the maps

This game was easy to pick up and play right away. It is enjoyable and I still pick it up and play through out the day when I am home.

Very different from other Mario games, but still a lot of fun. My obly complaint is that there are too many moons to collect if you are a conpletionist. It really becomes a chore.

Out of all the Mario’s out there, this one is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Every time I pick up the controller, I am amazed at how Nintendo is able to make such inventive games with an often similar storyline to be one of the games out there on the market. The plethora of objects one can possess is sensational. I was a bird. I was a caterpillar. I was even light on an electric line. Truly outstanding and that makes two homeruns on the Switch now. One being this, and the other being Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

This is my favorite mario game to date. The game has so many new mechanics and brings me back to the classic Super Mario. It brings elements from past games like the 8-bit Mario and Super Mario Sunshine! It advances the open world-feel experience with sharp and vibrant color. The Co-op multiplayer is a great addition. As Cappy, you fell like your own character and provides actual help you can't get when playing single player. Overall the game is a great and wonderful experience that easily lands 15+ hours of fun.

This game was described to us to be like the old game where you discover each world. But it so much more. The game gets addictive, once you start it's hard to put it down. We bought it for our son to play but we find ourselves not being able to give him the controller. But it isnt anything like the old game it is something all in itself

This game is absolutely fantastic. It has tons of new things, but also has some retro ties. This game is like a gigantic mix of Mario 64, Mario Galaxy, and Mario Sunshine. If you liked any of those games you will love this. Plus, as mentioned, there are throwbacks to Super Mario Bros from NES in here to throw you a change up. Nintendo hit a home run with Breath of the Wild, and areat as that game was... Odyssey is a grandslam. Just when you think the Mario franchise may have peaked, Nintendo develops a masterpiece.

Its a fun game. My kids are enjoying it. I am enjoying it.

This game is such a blast Nintendo made this game right!!! Brings back memories of fighting my brothers to play super Mario on NES!!

Excellent mechanics, perfect control, crisp and vibrant colors. All this and more combine to make this the best Mario I have played.

This game has provided hours of entertainment for myself but more importantly it makes my son interested in gaming. He loves Mario

My son and I have had a ton of fun working our way through the levels on this game. It does provide the option of 2 players, the second player has limited functionality as a flying hat but with my 7 year old he loves being the hat. My wife who has never played video games recently started playing as well. Highly recommend for those of you with fond memories of Mario world on the original nintendo, this is is a whole new level of mario fun.

I regretted selling my original copy, so when this went on sale, I picked it up again without hesitating. Great game!
