At first, my wife and I were skeptical about how two player mode was going to work. It seemed imbalanced to have one person controlling the title character and the other just a hat. The game is well balanced and neither of us felt like we were just watching the other person play. Haven't beat it yet, but it is another home run in the Mario series.

Absolute dynamite hit of a mario game

It is a great experience as a mario game, my favorite since super mario 64, and I am still in awe of how much there is for me to do and collect after finishing the main game. You could kill hundreds of hours having fun in this game and I am sure I'm halfway there. Must have.
