Super Mario Party is mostly a return to the mario party we grew up with and loved, with a few exceptions. The mini games are as good as ever (some, such as the one where you cook a cube of meat, are brilliant). The board game mode is back, however the boards are much smaller. The addition of character dice is a great one. There's not a ton of replay value (unless you're playing with a different group of people) as there are only four boards, and the minigames can get repetitive, but if you're a longtime fan of Mario Party and just want a proper board game MP again, buy this game.

This game is great to gather the family around and play some games. Wish there were more boards though

Bought this game to play with my girlfriend. Playing solo isn't that fun and can feel monotonous, but with a group of people it'll bring life to the party. Mario and the gang are back and better than ever.
