I love this game!!!!!! It was a gift for my nephew but I ended up keeping it. I play it every night!! It’s sooo much fun and giggles! I even play during my lunch break, it’s soo much soo much fun. I like the fact that you can choose manual Transmission, I love the grip of the stick!! Reminds me when I’m riding my boat. Ohh hands down!

Nintendo must have. Lots of mini games that will keep you busy and sharing laughs for hours. Have it for the 3DS and really enjoyed it, but on the Nintendo Switch it jacks it up to a whole new level. Definitely recommend, you'll enjoy the game and spending time with family/friends along with it.

I was so excited to play this game and I was sadly disappointed. The maps are so small and boring, you can only use a single joy-con controller and that alone takes away from the classic Mario Party experience. I get the feeling they wanted to keep the motion sensor traits from the Wii to this game but most people playing this came from playing Gamecube and have no interest in punching the air for their dice block roll, etc. The energy put into this game went to all the wrong places. Nintendo even went out of their way to make a gamecube controller to play other classic games on the switch so it is upsetting and confusing to think they purposely excluded Mario Party from using that controller. Hopefully they make a newer version that can uphold the awesomeness this game used to be bc this version was a complete waste of my money.

We use to play Mario party with our kids when they were younger. Now our daughter is 31 and our son is 28 and they still love this game. We introduced it to our 3 year old granddaughter and she had a blast. It has a team game, 2 vs 2, the 4 player game, a beat or music game and mini challenges. My son-in-law loves playing with us.

Used to play the old school games on Nintendo 64 Now I can play it on my Nintendo Switch on the big screen! Great to play with friends or family (since board games are outdated now :( ) Still worth the money and will give you lots of fun memories of rivalry between friends/family haha

If you have a group of people to play, it's definitely way more fun than just playing against the bots. I had a group of 4 and we were playing for like 6 hours straight and we didn't bother knowing the time until we took a break to have dinner, which was when we realized how long we were at it. Worth it!

I haven't played a Mario Party since the Nintendo 64. And it's still just as fun as it was back then. I loved every mini game and co-op game! We wanted to jump right into the mini games without having to play the board to unlock them, and sure enough... a good 80% of the games were already available to play right from the beginning.

This is a great purchase for my young kids. They had been watching videos of people playing. I hadn't realized that these were current games until I did my research. Purchased a "Switch" and these games for my kids for Christmas. I can't wait until their eyes light up trying to play it.

This game takes a drastic turn from Mario Party 10 for the better. Back to the board games, items, and mini-games, no more of the coop against Bowser or requiring amiibo to play a watered-down version. Although the die is now capped at 6 and the boards are smaller that previous entries, it's a strong step back in the right direction.

I grew up playing this game on the 64. I still love it! Must have for family nights. If you like board games then for sure check this out because its basically a suped up digital version of a board game. Literally turns bored games into board games.

As a die hard Mario Party 2 Player I was thrilled to finally play another Mario Party game on a modern console. My friends and I always are down to play a game when we have time together. This rendition for the Switch is definitely worth purchasing. It seems to be more simplified and shortened, but I will say that because of this, it makes it easier to play multiple rounds and keeps the game moving at a better pace. There are more then enough mini-games and other features to make it worth your while.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. We’ve spent many nights since then playing as a family. It’s essy to catch onto the game for anyone who has never played Mario Party. It’s easily appropriate for any age. Just make sure to have no major plans as the minimum game play is about an hour long. It goes by in a flash.

The mini games are on the spot and fun, however suffer a problem with the lack of boards (only 4) and the default 10 turns are not enough to navigate the board collecting stars even that the boards are small. Needs customization on the board game rules, the default ten rounds configuration should be a quick start introduction, has a poor balancing and the stars method is frustrating as the winner always feels random, if you are getting lower numbers on the dice, there's nothing you can do to win.

Such a fun game to play for the entire family! We all enjoy the options of playing the various games together. We’ve played most of the Mario Party games and this one might be the favorite. I would recommend getting this to anyone looking for entertainment for all ages.

I bought this as the first game I purchased with my new Nintendo Switch. It allowed me to entertain my cousins and a family reunion when it rained all day. I have enjoyed playing it, and the game is well enough designed to be fun to play single player or in small group! Would recommend! My only grip is that it is not abundantly clear what one is expected to do to win the gems and unlock new characters. I wish that were better explained for people new to the Mario Party experience.

Absolutely love this game for the Nintendo Switch! I wanted something that would give them the option to be active and that would get the whole family involved and this was perfect- the mini games keep everyone going! It’s a great game for all age groups and the littles really love it!

The last Mario Party game I owned was Mario Party 4 on Nintendo Game Cube. After all these years, I finally picked up this game. I enjoyed it overall. It can be annoying with the luck based stars you can win in party mode but the mini games are really fun. There are a lot of modes in the game and you're tasked with getting a gem after completing each stage with each mode. There are a lot of playable characters and 4 to unlock. Overall it's a pretty easy game and very fun to play with a lot of people.
