I consider myself to be well versed in the Mario Party franchise as I had played nearly every single one in series. After the atrocities of the cart mechanic from Mario Party 9 and 10, I am happy to report that the standard of individually moving around the board is included in Super Mario Party. While I do see this as a step in the right direction, the boards themselves are rather small and lackluster. While the minigames (for the most part) are fun, I find coins are rather plentiful and which makes coins feel less rewarding especially since the cost of a Star being cheapened to 10 coins rather than traditional 20 coins. Combine this with slow and clunky UI (which can't be adjusted), the boards dissolve to being an average experience. As for online play, you can only play a limited number of minigames similar to the rotation of maps in Splatoon which is disappointing. Overall, Super Mario Party is an average experience where the game isn't particularly bad but fails to keep games engaging and exciting for the party game genre. I can only recommend this for those that are extremely curious about the game. However, as a big fan of the traditional Mario Party games, I find Super Mario Party to be just a graphically better Mario Party game that you would see on the 3DS.

I bought this game por my grandson. He is happy and he loves it

This is definitely one of my favorite games to play. Fun to play with friends. A few game modes to mix it up and everything runs smooth.
