Fun for the Whole Family

Super Mario Party is boardgames-style game with lots of fun mini game elements that make full use of the joy-con's features. It's fun and engaging for kids, though I have found it (at least at the start) a little overwhelming for my 10-year-old learning all the controls and orientations for the joy-con.

Fun game with a lack of content
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In terms of mini games, SMP has some of the best yet, but in terms of gameplay and board options, it is extremely lacking. For boards, there are only 4 options, all of which are the ‘collect the most stars’ type. As someone who played a ton of MP8 back on the Wii, this game doesn’t come close of offering as many game mode options as 8 did. Hopefully more will be offered in future updates and maybe as dlc.
