By far the best Mario Party since the glory days of the N64 and GameCube. I’ll always miss blistering up my thumbs spinning the control stick as fast as possible. The board game part about this Mario Party isn’t very fun, but just about everything else is pretty fun. Definitely not a game to play by yourself. It’ll feel more depressing than like a party.

It’s not really kid friendly. Bought this for my nephew and it’s way to hard for a 5 year old.

There are only three boards and they leave a lot to be desired, but the mini games are solid and fun.

Overall the game brings it back to classic Mario party. Each player now can control their own character instead of riding a kart with the rest. The mini games are fun and make great use of the joycons. The boards are very linear, however, and need more variety and surprises. It’s very much a grid and doesn’t have the depth of the boards in previous entries.

Partial to #2 & #3 but this one is excellent. Boards and minigames are what make a good Mario Party.

Just a great Christmas gift for my grandson !! Heard it was a good game for children.

Mario Party is, well Mario Party. This is one of the better entries in the series but a few things for us keep it from being great. The primary issue is the diagrams for how to hold the controls and for the motions (especially the thumbs up). They don't match up well to what you are actually doing. That's surprising coming from a first party Nintendo game. They usually have excellent diagrams. It's leaving the kids at time flustered.

Fun family game, mini games and game play identical to versions before. Invest in extra controllers.

Great if you're playing local multiplayer, love the boards and minigames! The online isn't so good.
