I got this as my first multiplayer mario game on my switch so that I could play woth friends when they visit. Everytime I play it, it is a blast and never disappoints.

Its been year since the last Mario Party and with the use of the Switch joy cons, there are great mini-games to find here. The game unlocks new mini-games at a great pace almost never missing the option to unlock a new one like in previous installments. It's a great party game, the only downfall is that you do need friends or have fun with this game, playing alone has rarely been fun in this franchise.

I'm an adult, I have adult friends who come over and love this game. I also have several little nephews and nieces that love to play this. Its a very simple game with lots of fun to be had. I played through most of the content with my roommate over a week. Side note this is a joy-con only game, the wireless pro controllers weren't supported by the game. Glad I pre-ordered as the best buy I got it at was sold out for a while.

The last Mario Party game I bought was on the Game Cube yeaaaaars ago. It was okay, but I played it maybe a handful of times only. This game feels and plays differently, tho, because it's so interactive with the joy cons. My favorite modes are River Survival and Free Play. The board games are fun, but can take hours to complete! The more you play, the more stuff you unlock. And it's gonna take a while to unlock everything.

This game is the full package. The same fun you remember having in the old N64 and Gamecube games. The franchise had lost its way and was made too easy during the Wii/Wii U days, in my opinion. This version brings back what we loved about Mario Party, brings something new and balances out some details (like the random hidden blocks and some unfair items). Only downside is that the online is terrible, outdated and inconvenient.

One of the best titles that Nintendo produced for the whole family and when friends are around. The number of mini games alone will occupy your whole family for a long long time. Also loved the new co-op mode, it is so fun not to play too competitive (although, play in co-op can sometimes be competitive also). Anyway, this is a must have if you have a Switch.

This year Mario Party has changed a few of it's rules back to the older versions of the game but still keeps it's main core at heart. Having fun on countless mini-games and making the best out of the chances that the game generate for you. It includes an online mode with just a mini-game option for the time being although the game itself is mainly a local game. Overall this game is great and brings back the earliest of childhoods.

Put on those nostalgia goggles and get your friends to each throw down twenty bucks. It's a blast.

Great family for a family game night! Has a lot of mini games. It’s fun and entertaining.

The car is gone and traditional gameplay has returned! The boards are indeed smaller and there's only 4 of them, but you can play each board individually or pairs (with another person or CPU). Pairing up for partner parties changes the board to enable freestyle movement. Lots of minigames to keep you entertained and new mechanics to keep you on your toes like character-specific dice blocks! Great to play with friends or go solo!

We got Mario Party to go along with my son’s other Mario Nintendo Switch games. It was a hit, he loves playing it and has gotten dad to play too, who also had a great time playing.

So much fun, perfect party game and will bring fun for hours! Just buy it already.

This an excellent game. This game builds upon the great looking switch game exclusives that came before it (Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda:BOTW). Fun game to play with family!

Love all the great mini games. The graphics are outstanding.

If you’ve played Mario Party before then you know exactly what you’re getting. If you don’t know, you get to play a series of random mini games to progress along a game board. Some of the games are better than others but I haven’t played a boring one yet. The amount of fun you have playing this game depends on who you’re playing with. Me and my kids have had a lot of fun with it.

This game is fun, but there is not as much stuff to do in it as was stated in the description. The dance party and rafting is the best part.

If you already have Super Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart, than might as well grab Mario Party. Rafting Mode. Dance Mode. Table Top Board Game Mode. Full cast of Mario Characters. Numerous Mini Games Utilizes the Joy-Con Controller extremely well. My 5 year old plays this, with help. Make sure to buy an extra Controller setif you only have the original two, as this is a game you'll want to play with friends.
