This is a top notch game in terms of map creativity and minigames. The only downside is that there are only 4 maps, and Nintendo has essentially abandoned it in favor of bringing maps from old games back from the dead with Mario Party Superstars. That being said, it's still work purchasing at a sale price. The River game is very fun with 2 or more players and would be a great party game!

Great game for family to enjoy. Easy ti play and comepetive

This "board game" platform offers hours of uninterrupted fun. It meets the game playing needs from young to old. It took me a bit to figure out the controls but my 5 year old, twin grandkids seem to have been born knowing what buttons to push and when. Crazy. We really enjoy how it feels like you are playing but also have that element of competition.

The game is another new Mario party, which means of course it’s great! Lots of new additions to classic game mechanics. The mini games are relatively easily, but the motion controls give a new dynamic to it all. The motion controls aren’t forced or gimmicky, which is a huge plus for me. The only reason I’ve given this a 4/5 is because the online mini game competition aspect of it is a bit rigged. Hopefully they’ll change it up the longer I play it.

Super fun game but there has been better mario parties in the past. You can only play the game with JoyCons which is totally a bummer but the reason is because you use the motion sensors to play some fun mini games! So I guess it makes up for it if you have more than two to play 4 players. Definitely a lot of fun!

Mario party games are always fun but I think Mario party 9 & 10 we're heading in the wrong direction. Happy to report that Super Mario Party on the switch is a course correction. I wouldn't say it's the best in the series but it's certainly in the higher tier. I enjoyed the unlockables and the extra modes. My friends and I have been playing this a lot and having a good time.

SMP is a game for the whole family and friends it's super fun!!!

This game just brings such nostalgia. Havent played Mario party since it was on the Nintendo 64, this game brought the memories flooding back. All those lost friendships over that one golden star

Fun for the whole family. I just wished i knew that additional joycons were needed. Other controlers are not compatible with this game.

Seriously the best Mario Party game to come out in decades. The maps are smaller but also more intimate. There is a lot more packed into the small size and the different modes are fun spins on the whole experience. If you have a Switch and you want something fun that the whole family can easily get in on or a fun night with friends and some beers I highly recommend this.

I bought this game around Christmas and I really enjoy playing it. The ONLY criticism I have is when you play, you can't skip though the computer's rolling of the die and moving around the board. It gets a little annoying when your playing alone or with just one other player. I could at the very less be sped up. Otherwise it's a great game

This is hands down the best Mario Party Nintendo has released in a number of years. The mini games are all a blast to play and make great use of the joy cons - no pro controllers allowed, sorry. The boards have all been fun so far, and the alternative game modes have been interesting and have added a depth of variety to the traditional play style. This is a must have!

Great and fun game to be played by 2 or more, easy to learn by anyone

This game is super fun and finally gets rid of the weird car mechanic from the past two games. This is definitely a favorite if you are planning on having people over and the games are simple enough that anyone can enjoy them and feel like they can win. Definitely pick this one up if you like mario party or are looking for a fun game to play with your friends!

This game brought the fun back to Mario party! Mario party 10 was a huge let down for me so I was stoked for this game, it is very family friendly and easy to pick up and learn. My one con is the online play, I thought I would be able to play all games with my friends online but it is limited to about 7-10 games... I hope they fix this with a patch in the future!
