I picked up Super Mario Party the day it came out. I had been watching videos at home leading up to the release, and I think it was worth the hype! My only regret was spoiling the mini games. I enjoy playing this game alone, with my boyfriend, or groups of friends. I even played with my friend's kid, and it was still pretty fun. Fun for all, definitely get this game!

I only played this game once but it was fire. Reminded me of my chldhood playing Mario Party with my my siblings and cousins.

Easy to play with kids and is as fun as the originals .

With all the different available modes, including a co-op version of the board game and a full-on 4 player team mode, this game keeps your family from being at each other's throats, which was always a worry on previous Mario Party games. It's a blast, and you only need a single Joy Con per person, so it's not as controller-heavy as other party games can be.

Finally, a new Mario Party that returns to the classic ways! Mario Party 10 on the Wii-U made all of the players move together in a 'vehicle,' so the bonuses, power-ups, and bad spaces were used whether you got them or not. This one, you finally all move as separate pieces again! It's so much fun, and allows for literal hours of play on one board if you like!

Finally a game the whole Family can enjoy and challenge each other. I like that my younger little ones can challenge my older kids and be competitive with each other. Yes, there are other games similar to this one, though I’ve enjoyed playing this one more with my kids then any other at the time of this writing.

My wife and I absolutely LOVE this game, even a year into having it. There is a partnered mode where you can team up against the computer, and it's our absolute favorite. Other than that, there are many game modes and we loved exploring them as a team. It's great to play alone against the computers, too. The only reason it doesn't get 5 starts is because: 1) There's no DLC for more maps (please give us more!!) 2) There's no online play for the normal game modes, only to play mini games.

Extremely fun to play with my gf, 10/10 would recommend again.

This game is fun, and will provide a lot of laughs, but is definitely a "play with friends" game, it's just not as fun without friends there.

You can have a quick game that lasts an hour or play mini games for hours. Only downside is only being able to use the small Switch controllers

Not the best Mario party but I can’t complain. It just doesn’t get old to me and it’s a lot of fun for the whole family. I like to bring my switch to family functions and people just can’t seem to stop playing this game, you will be stuck saying “just one more mini game” for at least an hour. If anyone gives this a negative review then they must be poor sports

Loads of fun! The minigames are incredibly imaginative and the use of the controller haptics adds to the diversity and excitement of play. Great for all ages!

Great family game or playing by yourself. My 7 yr old loves it

Amazing game, easy to understand, fun to to play, even has motion controls with the switch controller. If playing with more than 2 people, you would need 1 or more joycons.

A lot of fun. We play with our 8 and 12 year olds sometimes, and our 5 year old likes to mess around on their own (they're not able to play competently enough for group gameplay yet). Some of the mini games are better than others, but overall a fun game and a great addition to family game night.

Bought this game to be able to have a family game night! It's been great for playing with everyone in the family. So far, I was able to connect up to 4 players by purchasing 2 additional controllers for the switch. Lots of great mini games and very family friendly. I recommend this to anyone looking for multi-player games.

My friends and I, all in our mid-twenties, were bored and decided to go out to buy Super Mario Party since we had liked the Mario Party from our childhood. After a few minutes of getting reacquainted with the format of this game we found ourselves having a great game night. The next five hours flew by and we found ourselves laughing and having a blast.

Mario Party on the Switch is definitely my favorite of the collection! I love the unique boards and there has yet to be a mini game that I didn't enjoy. They are just so different but at the same time give you that classic Mario Party feel. My friends and I have had a blast playing it so far and cannot wait to try all the mini games and have even more laughs.
