I can't express how happy I am that Nintendo returned to the series' roots with this installment, but they also made a bunch of changes that improve the Mario Party experience even further. Super Mario Party is packed with content despite only having four boards, and is a must play for anyone looking to return to the glory days of the series.

if you don't know what to game to get someone, anyone, whatever age, this is a good bet. I played the old version in college with roommates and we had a blast.

I bought this version for my son's Switch and it was a simple process. We got the email with the code to download the digital version of the game onto his Switch and he's able to play it right away. No need to drive to the store to pick up the actual game. No need to wait for anything to ship to you. He loves the game and this works!

Amazing graphics and minigames!! Very entertaining and fun!!

This is my first Mario Party game in any platform. I found it cute and fun and easy to play for casual gaming. I had a lot of fun with my 9 year old daughter. The control is intuitive and responsive. Definitely one of the must have tittle on the Switch. The only slight negative is that you need a joy-con to play (Pro controller doesn't work)

Super Mario Party - Nintendo Switch is a lot of fun. Lots of new mini-games that are fun for the family or for playing with friends. New game modes that emphasize teamwork or the more classic mode playing alone. I love the allies. The only down side is that in the most classic mode the player who is lucky enough to go first almost always wins because most of the time they get to all the stars and allies first.

Lot of fun, great for groups. Did not like that software is not compatible with wireless controllers that are not the joy con.

We always bring this with us for family get togethers, especially around the holidays when we are cooped up in the house. Several rounds of this puts smiles on everyone's faces as long as they can be a good sport. Great gameplay, bright colors and stellar animations with classic Nintendo characters. What more could you ask for?

I have thrown several things and had many great memories due to this game. Great drinking game.

This new entry in the Mario Party series is an amazing return to it's roots. A hail back to parties 1-6 you are an individual on a board and not a group. Players have classic and unique dice to their characters and can get other dice by recruiting extra team members. Overall a wonderful entry in the series and new breath to the franchise!

Pros: * Back to its roots as a boardgame (no cart) * New modes (River Survival and Sound Stage) mix things up * Easy to pickup for non-gamers * Between Allies, Bad Luck Spaces, VS Spaces, etc. the game is anything but fair. Think Monopoly with cheating Cons: * Linear stars placement, just ahead each time leads to very unfair advantage * "High Five" gimmick is lame and forced * Only 4 boards and no online play * Unable to swap in/out players with CPU means when someone goes home, need to start over

I love this game!!!!!! It was a gift for my nephew but I ended up keeping it. I play it every night!! It’s sooo much fun and giggles! I even play during my lunch break, it’s soo much soo much fun. I like the fact that you can choose manual Transmission, I love the grip of the stick!! Reminds me when I’m riding my boat. Ohh hands down!

We use to play Mario party with our kids when they were younger. Now our daughter is 31 and our son is 28 and they still love this game. We introduced it to our 3 year old granddaughter and she had a blast. It has a team game, 2 vs 2, the 4 player game, a beat or music game and mini challenges. My son-in-law loves playing with us.

I haven't played a Mario Party since the Nintendo 64. And it's still just as fun as it was back then. I loved every mini game and co-op game! We wanted to jump right into the mini games without having to play the board to unlock them, and sure enough... a good 80% of the games were already available to play right from the beginning.

Nintendo must have. Lots of mini games that will keep you busy and sharing laughs for hours. Have it for the 3DS and really enjoyed it, but on the Nintendo Switch it jacks it up to a whole new level. Definitely recommend, you'll enjoy the game and spending time with family/friends along with it.

This game takes a drastic turn from Mario Party 10 for the better. Back to the board games, items, and mini-games, no more of the coop against Bowser or requiring amiibo to play a watered-down version. Although the die is now capped at 6 and the boards are smaller that previous entries, it's a strong step back in the right direction.

If you have a group of people to play, it's definitely way more fun than just playing against the bots. I had a group of 4 and we were playing for like 6 hours straight and we didn't bother knowing the time until we took a break to have dinner, which was when we realized how long we were at it. Worth it!

I was so excited to play this game and I was sadly disappointed. The maps are so small and boring, you can only use a single joy-con controller and that alone takes away from the classic Mario Party experience. I get the feeling they wanted to keep the motion sensor traits from the Wii to this game but most people playing this came from playing Gamecube and have no interest in punching the air for their dice block roll, etc. The energy put into this game went to all the wrong places. Nintendo even went out of their way to make a gamecube controller to play other classic games on the switch so it is upsetting and confusing to think they purposely excluded Mario Party from using that controller. Hopefully they make a newer version that can uphold the awesomeness this game used to be bc this version was a complete waste of my money.
