Good for people who has a lot friends. Awesome game!

This is my favorite game, I used to have it on the wii but now play on my switch. It is a great four player game and if you have another console you can play up to eight. The one downside is that you can only play using joy cons, the pro controller is not compatible.

Such a fun game to play with friends. Love the golf simulator so much.

Lots of fun. The game has tons of fun mini games but it could use more maps or make it more obvious how to unlock new maps.

I've played all the Mario Partys and it seems every generation, it gets worse. Pros: -Partner System is an interesting edition, especially when they can participate in minigames. -Some neat random interactions -Good character selection. Cons: -Boards are too small this caused an average a star gained by someone every other round, and it wasn't rare that with your partners, you could traverse nearly the entire board in one round. -Only 4 small boards to choose from. -Boards are very bland, undecorated compared to previous Mario party boards, and mostly uneventful. -Some of the voices of the characters are butchered, what the heck did they do to boo and lakitu?! -Stars are only 10 coins each. -No competition. With stars given out like candy, there is little strategy involved. -Not many diverse minigames, 95% of them are 4 player, there is less than a handful of the others (1v3 and 2v2). -Most minigames seemed winnable with your eyes closed and a simple shake of the controller. -Items in the game are fairly generic. Also, "Item shops" if you want to even call it that, only have three items. -Points awarded from board and minigame play can be spent on...unlocking tutorials. Previous Mario Partys had unique items you could buy and put in a room to display. The game feels incomplete and at best, a decent entry into a handheld Mario Party game, however, the Switch is also a console hybrid, so this feels out of place due to its lack of features.

I bought this for my wife and I to play. She’s not too into video games, but she’s always liked Mario party. It can be fun for any age. I can’t see it being too enjoyable solo, so I would recommend it only if you have others to play it with.

Great multiplayer / family game on the Switch. Have an hour to sit down and play? Play the traditional board game mode. Have a few minutes? There's minigames and smaller game modes. Teams? Check. Free-for-all? Check. Great selection of minigames, nice update.

Nintendo finally went back to what made the Party games great back in the 90s. Almost every one of the 80 games is a blast to play in 4 player couch co-op. Single player can be fun but it's hard to enjoy it much after having a party with others and going nuts when someone takes the crown from you on a personal level. It might create fights and rivalries, but it's worth it in the end. The extra game modes outside of the board game format are fun, too. Especially the water rafting experience.

If you have a few people over then I would recommend this game. It’s super fun but I wish it had more boards in this game.

I played this before i baught it a my sister has the game and she doesnt always like playing it so it was the first game i chose to get when i ordered my switch

This game is so much fun! You can play as single or multiplayer! Definitely would recommend buying for yourself or as a gift!

I know a lot of knocked this game down. I guess when one popular youtuber says one thing, they all follow. I think this game is pretty fun! Wow do I miss the old days on multiplayer in the same home! I’m from the 4 player Dreamcast powerstone 2 party days! Though the action is way less in this game. It’s still fun to get some friends over and talk trash face to face. And, a huge perk for me. No 2 hour install wait. Just pop that game in and PLAY! Miss those days too!

Love this game. Fun and family friendly. Easy enough for my younger one to pick up quickly.

I will start off by saying this is the first Mario Party branded game that I have played since N64 days. This game is still awesome for parties when you have your friends over, but I felt the mini games were lacking, and was not impressed by the maps. IF they come out with another on this console, I hope it's better. In this day of age with gaming over the internet, you would have thought they would have a master Mario Party and come out with updates to keep it fresh.

We have a lot of fun playing this game as a family. Mini games are unique and challenging. Whole family enjoys it. Only downside is you can only play with JoyCon controllers, so will need to buy extra if you are playing more than 2 players.

So my 8 year old has been telling me how much he wanted this and couldn't wait for his birthday. Nintendo Super Mario Party for the Switch did not disappoint. I cannot get my 8 and 13 year old boys to put this game down. Hours of play and high replay factor was a super plus. Very happy with this purchase!!!

Super Mario Party is a perfect game to play when you’re looking come off of more competitive games like Smash Ultimate, Overwatch, etc. It’s easy to follow and great for beginners or friends who don’t play video games. Mini games are fun and easy! Very family friendly and recommend purchasing.
