I love this game. I'm able to play it with my wife, 5 year old, and 3 year old. The youngest often doesn't understand how to play the minigames, but the way the game is structured still ends up allowing her to often win both minigames and overall games. It's perfect for my family!

We started family game night during covid. Mario party was a game my children grew up with. It is so much fun now that they have children of their own! I love that you have to work together. We have never had so much silly fun being cooped up in the house.

I only played this game once but it was fire. Reminded me of my chldhood playing Mario Party with my my siblings and cousins.

This is my favorite game, I used to have it on the wii but now play on my switch. It is a great four player game and if you have another console you can play up to eight. The one downside is that you can only play using joy cons, the pro controller is not compatible.

I know a lot of knocked this game down. I guess when one popular youtuber says one thing, they all follow. I think this game is pretty fun! Wow do I miss the old days on multiplayer in the same home! I’m from the 4 player Dreamcast powerstone 2 party days! Though the action is way less in this game. It’s still fun to get some friends over and talk trash face to face. And, a huge perk for me. No 2 hour install wait. Just pop that game in and PLAY! Miss those days too!

I will start off by saying this is the first Mario Party branded game that I have played since N64 days. This game is still awesome for parties when you have your friends over, but I felt the mini games were lacking, and was not impressed by the maps. IF they come out with another on this console, I hope it's better. In this day of age with gaming over the internet, you would have thought they would have a master Mario Party and come out with updates to keep it fresh.

We have a lot of fun playing this game as a family. Mini games are unique and challenging. Whole family enjoys it. Only downside is you can only play with JoyCon controllers, so will need to buy extra if you are playing more than 2 players.

Great multiplayer / family game on the Switch. Have an hour to sit down and play? Play the traditional board game mode. Have a few minutes? There's minigames and smaller game modes. Teams? Check. Free-for-all? Check. Great selection of minigames, nice update.

So my 8 year old has been telling me how much he wanted this and couldn't wait for his birthday. Nintendo Super Mario Party for the Switch did not disappoint. I cannot get my 8 and 13 year old boys to put this game down. Hours of play and high replay factor was a super plus. Very happy with this purchase!!!

This game is great, as long as you have people to play with. This is a great Nintendo game, but like most party games, unless people are there playing with you, it's a little dull. You need the atmosphere of battling others to really enjoy this game. If you have that, then I highly recommend it.

Super Mario Party is a perfect game to play when you’re looking come off of more competitive games like Smash Ultimate, Overwatch, etc. It’s easy to follow and great for beginners or friends who don’t play video games. Mini games are fun and easy! Very family friendly and recommend purchasing.

I bought this game to play with my brothers and we had a load of fun. There is also a co-op mode type of mini game where my nephew and niece played and had lots of fun since neither side lost. It's also better paced than the other Mario party games so it doesn't feel too long when we have a session. 10/10

I've been playing Mario Party since the original N64 release, and while I enjoyed recent versions, there wasn't as much innovation as I would have liked to keep the idea fresh. However this new Switch version really takes advantage of the platform, though mainly if you have access to more than one Switch console.

Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch is a pleasant return to the original Mario Party formula that made the series so popular on the Nintendo 64. With a focus on quicker transitions between turns, innovative mini-games that make use of the Joy Cons, and an expanded Nintendo roster, Super Mario Party is a solid party game on the Nintendo Switch. If you are looking for a game to enjoy amongst friends, Super Mario Party is a great game to add to your Nintendo Switch library.

This is a return to the classic Mario Party experience after that odd cart mechanic from the previous iteration. The game has the classic Mario Party gameplay of moving around the board and playing minigames but also introduces other modes to vary up the fun. While these modes are all fun, they do feel limited as it feels the time put into each mode takes away from the others. For example, the standard game only has 4 boards when the other main games usually had about 6 or more

My wife and I played the game at a friends and we enjoyed it so much, we went out and purchased our own Nintendo Switch, extra Joy Con, and a copy of this game for ourselves. The ability to play just the mini games vs. the traditional board game is great for a quick match against friends. I highly recommend it.

Super fun game to play with a party of people. This game is awesome, I have always been a fan of the series. The selection of minigames are cool, but I wish they would bring back some of the mini-games that were on the classic titles. It was a great buy and something we play from time to time. I wouldn't recommend this game to people who would be solo playing. In my opinion, it's definitely not one of those games.

I would definitely recommend this to anybody that is a fan of past Mario Party games as well as anybody on the fence that is unfamiliar with this franchise. It’s a super fun game that I can play with all my nieces and nephews, friends, and my fiancé, and it’s also fun to just play against the PC. Very happy!
