This is a fun game for the family. My kids enjoy it even though it’s hard for my younger ones to know how to move the controller for the mini games at times. The only reason for 3 stars is because you can only use the JoyCon controller to play this game. Dumbest thing ever and I hope Nintendo makes changes.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a fun Mario party, but Mario party superstars just flat out beats it. Unless you get this for $20 or so, just get superstars.

I wouldn’t get this as one of my first games. You need two players to unlock mini games before you can really play. So unless you know you’ll be playing with more that yourself I’d hold off on it. It is a good game in its own right that takes you back to your childhood but geezus. Give us better boards.

Hello. I hope this helps you but I was looking for a fun family game for me, my eight-year-old daughter, my eight-year-old nephew, and my girlfriend and her son. My daughter has a switch and so do I and I figured we could play together like Mario kart. That’s not the case. You can connect switches but you can only play with the individual controller. Meaning you have to have the $300 switch and you have to slide each side off. You can’t play with it as one unit or with external controls. Also, you cannot play it online. If connecting more than one consul then you have to be in the same vicinity. I was not aware of these things and found out the hard way. Good news though, you can still play it on a television set at night just a small screen. But upon purchasing this we were unaware of that and we’re not having as much fun as I thought we would. I bought this because it was on sale and I had a coupon.

A lot of minigame and things to do in the game, a bit too simple for adults.

Is so fun the multiplayer mode, needs more maps but thats ok
