This is a fun entry in the Mario Party franchise that makes selecting a character more than just an aesthetic choice with the custom dice, which is great. But the game could use a few more boards to help the game feel fresher for longer.

Fun game to play at a party or with family, good for all ages

The game itself isnt terrible, however the multiplayer concept seems pretty weak, you can only play the minigames with other people online, the board game itself is only local.

Best Mario Party game I have played in years. Great use of Joy Cons and the Switch when undocked. A must have for Switch owners.

This game is super fun and great for actual parties. My family and friends have had a blast. Wish you could play with more players.

Compared to the last Mario party released for the Wii u this is garbage. Got it for my kid for Christmas and she was bored within a few minutes. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone

Only 4 boards ans the mini games are very bland. Not much variety nor challenge when playing

Terrible game. There’s hardly any balance to it. Way too random as far as earning stars. The maps are small and there are way too many unfair advantages. Mario party 8 for the WII was a far better game.

I’d give it a higher rating if I were able to actually play it. The nitendo switch is sold out everywhere and I bought a Lite so I could play Mario Party specifically, and on the cover somewhere it should tell you not compatible with the switch lite.. or some sort of warning first . So now I have a game I paid 60 dollars for and I can’t play it unless I spend another 50 dollars or so just to play it with the switch lite .

Bought this game to play with the family. It did not keep our attention for long and we got tired of it after 20 minutes of playing. My kids have not picked it up since opening it.

I’ve played Mario party my entire life since the very first and this is the saddest excuse I’ve ever seen. Not worth the $60, only 4 maps, all super tiny, none of the games are fun at all, and the game favors the computer players significantly. The old games were fun, lengthy, full of content, and we’re a great mix of luck AND skill. This one is 100% lick, we 100% the entire game in one day, and it just plain isn’t fun. But a better game not this.

Not the best entry in the series. My girlfriend and I have only played this two times together and probably will leave it on the shelf collecting dust. If you have to have it, wait for a sale....Maybe worth $20.
