Fun family game. You need to use the controllers that came with the Switch. Can not be played with after market controllers.

I bought this game for my son. He loves it. It was his favorite game on the Wii. It only works with Joy Com controls though.

its worth the money spent. once you finish a game a whole new world will open and you can play another galaxy. you get your moneys worth.

Fun to play with a group or against the computer. The board game mechanics are neat but I enjoy the pick your own minigame mode.

I am a big fan of Mario Party games. I believe my favorite one is 7 or 8. This one is a bit disappointing. All you need to play is 10 turns. The game board is pretty much the same on all three boards about collecting stars. You get bonus mushrooms at shops but there seems to be only 3 types. After going around the board two or three times the game feels very monotonous. The game has very few challenges to stop someone or steal stars. There are very few bad fun things that happen to the characters. Unlocking the bonus board is a little different with the star being stationary and having the ability to buy one or two stars. However the mini games are great to play.

Purchased as a gift and the kids loved it so much. They stay entertained with this family friendly game.

May not be the worlds best game but is really fun for short periods of free time. Its a board game rather than the previous versions of just going straight in one direction which was a really bad idea. The mini games are simple and fresh.

The mini games are so much fun. I have been playing with my niece and nephew for hours. The downside is that the mini game selection is somewhat short and the gameplay through the board is a little slow for my taste.
