This is exactly what you'd expect for a remake, some quality of life upgrades and visual updates, but the rest was left alone. Don't fix something that isn't broke. As a side note, I had this preordered through Best Buy for delivery, and it arrived day of release.

I love this game so much. Brings back memories of playing the original on the snes. These are the remastered we’ve always wanted.

Super Mario RPG is a timeless classic! The blend of Mario charm with RPG depth is genius. Nostalgia overload with a sprinkle of awesome battles and quirky characters. 10/10, would jump on Goombas again!

Did not realize it is an EXACT remake. No new features at all. Essentially upgraded from PS1 to PS3 graphics is all. Should never have paid $60 for this, but that is on me. If you are a huge fan of the original, and just looking for modern day nostalgia, without any change to the integrity of the classic, than this is perfect for you. If you were expecting maybe some additions, or improvements, you are out of luck.

This is a really fun game and once again Nintendo comes through with an amazing Mario game. Can’t stop playing it!

Great remake,or really just upscaled and facelifted for the switch from the super Nintendo and it is marvelous . Really brought me nostalgia from my youth they did a fantastic job highly recommend.

This is a great and faithful remake to the original, with some quality of life sprinkled in. You can choose between original and new sound track and the monster journal is a nice touch among other things. Its worth picking up if you loved the original.

Amazing remake. Just like I remembered it from the 90s. Somehow Nintendo managed to bring this experience to the new generation in a perfect way. The “cinematics” managed to capitalize on the nostalgia and make the game better than the original release.

Wonderful story, excellent puzzles (late in the game), music and gameplay. Super Mario RPG was one of the very few Mario games that I completed (yes, it was that good IMO).

A perfeft rendition and remake of the classic Mario RPG for the SNES. Absolutely loved playing through it and even though the original came out before I was born, it still felt like that classic mario magic was still there after all these years.

It is fun and easy game which every family member enjoys it. Everyone who has you child/children should have it.

Awesome classic remake! Great intro for kids wanting to get into RPG’s. Easy to follow and has the how to’s in it. Played the original, and this so far retains that essence of greatness from Square and Nintendo. Still a great game. Must own.

I played this game when it came out many years ago and all I can say is that they did a fantastic job keeping the original essense of the game while bringing small improvements. Good job Nintendo!

Excellent gift for Christmas! ordered it online for pickup, it was ready in less than 2 hours, best buy made holiday shopping so easy! This is a super fun game for all age levels.

It's Mario, but HD. Just buy it already. Nostalgia that doesn't disappoint

This was an excellent remaster of a classic Nintendo game. Gameplay is easy to understand and it's a great game for new or seasoned fans.
