Let me start off by saying that more likely than not anyone who's bought this already probably has nostalgic and emotional ties to the Super Nintendo. I think it's a great gift for any Nintendo fan who's looking to reminisce of the 90's. It's nice that it comes with two controllers unlike the NES Classic which had one. The few gripes I have with it are that the cords for the controllers are pretty short. I guess they want players to get the full nostalgic experience by having to play right in front of the TV. Get some cord extensions on Amazon or at Best Buy for a more enjoyable experience. It comes with the never released StarFox 2 which is really nice, but the game selection still leaves something to be desired. Nintendo offers the essentials with Nintendo icons like Zelda, Mario, StarFox, Donkey Kong, Kirby. Also offers Street Fighter, Contra, Secrets of Mana, and Final Fantasy. Just disappointing that they could've easily added more games to the system considering the hackers are able to add dozens of more games to it easily. It's a great buy but I completely understand anyone who doesn't jump on this due to the price tag plus these games will more than likely be on the eventual Switch Virtual Console

The nostalgia factor is at 11 for this one. This is a great system with all the greatest games (except Chronotrigger) that is a blast to play. Save anywhere, rewind and different graphics options round this out to a great system. One note, extension cords or wireless controllers are a must.

I love many of the games on here. I honestly bought to to play Mario rpg even though i have the real one. This has a lot of amazing games on it you must go get one. They will have more later on so try not to go to other sales places where its tripled in price if you can hold out till then.

It’s awesome. Everything it needs to be and more. I bought two so I could modify one to have every snes game made. Love these little hinges just a shame Nintendo didn’t make more like they promised. didn’t care for the 7 hours waiting in the cold and rain to get it but at least I got it.

Nintendo has included a decent assortment of games from multiple genres on SNES Classic, so everyone should be able to find games to play. I do wish Donkey Kong Country 2 had been included in addition or instead of the first game, though. I thought it was the best of the 3 DKC games.

If you grew up with the SNES you will feel the nostalgia instantly when you open the box. The games are as good as you remember. There are games here for everyone and prob some new ones you missed as a kid. Get this for yourself or for the younger generation of gamers in your family.

First of all I wasn't prepared for how small this system is. It's probably an eighth the size of the original SNES. It's convenient in that aspect as I have limited room in my entertainment center among the other consoles. That being said, the SNES classic is phenomenal. It's so fun to go back and play the video games that I grew up on and have them all conveniently stored in one console. My wife and I have been tackling super mario and mario kart. Haven't really cracked into any of the other games yet, excepting a brief foray into donkey Kong country. I thoroughly enjoy this purchase

For those of us who grew up with NES, this is a great buy. All the favorites from when we grew up, like all the Mario games, combined into one little box. You don’t have to switch out games and it does not take up a ton of space. The games that were fun to play. Not all the shooting, graphic death “games” that are out now, The best part is that this is way cheaper then what we paid back in the 90s for the console and games! Graphics show how far we have come in the tech world!

SNES games in one nice miniature package. A lot of great games, but is missing some classics. Controller wires are a bit short, and to change games you MUST go up to the console and reset it. Why? To feel nostalgic? I guess..Much more available then the NES classic thankfully.

Short cables and need to get up to reset. Could easily of had more games. Good selection if you don't know how to make your own.

went to Best Buy to return an item, and sure enough, they had these consoles sitting behind customer service. I snag one up (all they let you have is one per). if you're a fan of the old consoles, this is awesome. great games, great graphics, looks exactly like the old games.

pre-loaded with games, there is not much you can do about that unless you want to create your own snes. i have had fun going back and playing some classics though. while i do not like every game on here, it wasn't super expensive for some here and there retro gameplay options.

Whos to say Mario wasn’t fun!? Hours upon hours spent in front of the tv as a young child and now I can do the same as an adult!? And even better, I can pass this on to my child so he can enjoy the games that I did. It’s a collectors must have and an overall anyone must have!

I have been waiting for this for months now. I was lucky to get one because I missed the pre sale so Thank You BestBuy for having another batch. Starting with the hardware or at least with the construction quality. Everything feels solid. The controllers feel solid, the plastic is strong and it doesn't feel cheap. The buttons feel great and it is a very familiar feeling to the original SNES controllers, the size of the controller, the quality of the buttons when you press them... its amazing. The console plastic is also very good, it will not bend and feels very strong. The Power and Reset button work just like the ones on the SNES. The eject button does not but that is acceptable but it would had been awesome to push it down. So far I have not had any issues with the games/software. I played them all briefly and everything seems to work. Now I will spend some hrs playing a few of the titles to come back to my early teenage years.

I have been looking for this for a long time. Well, waiting for the classic Nintendo last year; which unfortunately did not get the chance to buy. Finally got my hands on this one and it is just amazing. Such a nostalgic feeling from where I had it as a kid. Works great.

I missed out on the NES classic but managed to snag one of these. It’s been great revisiting some of my favorite games from my childhood. If you were an 80s-90s gamer or just want to expose your kids to the great games from back then you can’t go wrong with this system.

I purchased the first NES Classic last year and I loved it. I purchased this one thinking I would love it too. Actually I love it more since I remember playing these games way more than the original NES. Highly recommend you buy if you are able to get your hands on one

I was super psyched when I was able to get a hold of one of these SNES mini consoles. It was actually my first gaming console back when I was a kid, and how I loved to play Mario. It couldn't get better than this, and to share it with my kid brother, it's even better.
