Cannot get it to work

I get the power indicator but that is about it. The instructions that came with it are limited at its best. When I get the time, I will go on line and see what I can find in trouble-shooting this gaming set up. I am pretty tech savvy, so this has me totally stumped as to why it is not functioning properly. At this point, I cannot give it a favourable rating..................I can recommend it, though, in that I am sure there is something in the steps (not clearly explained) I may have missed and have not had the time to figure it out. However, it should have been far more simple and no issues - one would think
