I already owened a SNES but it looks horrible on the newer TV's. This is the perfect way to play some of the games I used to play growing up.

I love reliving the wonderful memories of playing these retro games. I also get to introduce my son to games I loved playing a long time ago.

I love it! Being an older gamer, it's nice to play games I grew up on. And showing my son what I did, instead of all the fancy stuff nowadays

I really hope that Nintendo makes more of these, because they are perfect. Getting all these classics in a perfect little package is amazing.

I really enjoy playing this gaming system, having had SNES growing up and get rid of it I like having the ability to play my old games again.

I love the nostalgia that this invokes. I wish the controller cords were longer but i'll just get extensions like a did for the NES Classic.

I love the SNES classic. I think for the price this is a great addition for anyone who was around when the original was released or younger games interested in what their parents played. The game selection is diverse, the console itself is tiny, and it comes with two controllers already ready to go. Nice addition to any gaming collection.

It is nostalgic...I feel like a child again!!! Best Buy had plenty so everyone seemed to get one that was there the morning of its release...

This is so much fun! A trip down memory lane and a must have for any 80s kid. Buy the cable extenders though. Controller cords are too short.

Brings back memories playing all of the old school games I used to play as a kid, glad I got one for me and my friend before they sold out!

Nostalgia to the max. If you loved playing SNES in the 90's, you will enjoy revisiting these games. If not, they may not hold your interest.

I’m not the largest fanboy, I do enjoy the concept, I have a two year old child that doesn’t play video games, yet... The idea was to give him something that would bring us close when he decided too, so it’s been nice, freshening up on the optional titles for that day but Nintendo, in my honest opinion didn’t do much by way of providing a quality overlay with this console. I feel as if when you choose to officially take something like this out of the vault then you’ve gotta our the software together in a way that is eons better than that of your competitors that do it strictly for name recognition and for the love of development. Not bad, just not perfectly articulated in a way that would make you feel that their all was put into every aspect of the experience.

Classic games, cheap for total package, hdmi, authentic controllers. Don’t buy from scalpers I found it at Best Buy on the shelf. Wish it had a few more games but is a blast.

The SNES classic offers variety in the game types (platformers, sports games, rpgs), making it a good introduction to the system itself without having to hunt down an original snes, modify it to display a decent picture on modern TVs, and spending a fortune on amassing this collection (as of 11/30/18 some copies of Earthbound, which is included in the classic edition, sell at over $160 us dollars). The only negatives on this package would be the included usb power adapter, and the controllers. The usb power adapter's cord length is short making it something that has to stay close to an outlet, which depending on your set up can be difficult (though the cord can be used as a regular usb cable and can get power from a tv with usb ports). The power adapter's plug to a regular outlet is longer than regular plugs and rounded, meaning that it can take up more space in a surge protector. There is nothing wrong with the feel and build quality of the two included controllers, the problems with them are a lack of a home button and the length of the controller cords. The reason the lack of home buttons is an issue, is to get back to the main menu or making a save state, it requires getting up, hitting the reset switch and waiting for the system to reload. A wii classic or pro controller can be used which has a home button since it has the same plugs. The controller cords, like with the included usb cable are short as well, but controller extenders are available.

I’m not a hardcore gamer by any means but this brings me back to the golden 90’s. My 11 and 6 year old play it as well and love the games.

This is a great console to own!! If you grew up playing super nintendo this is a must have product especially since it hooks up using hdmi

THis is just the best console. I do recommend this product. The only thing that I would add is an longer cable just like the original SNES

I absolutely love that Nintendo is bringing back a retro piece of my childhood. I was lucky enough to get a couple of these for my family.

This was worth the buy. Over 20 classic Super NES games such as Super Mario Bros series, Donkey Kong, and Kirby classics. Device was easy to setup. The console itself fits in the palm of your hand, but don’t let its size fool you. The controllers sre the original size as the ones from back in the day. I would recommend this to anyone yong and old.
