I'm more excited that I beat a scalper to this product than the thing itself, but I am still excited that I'm going to get one. I grew up on the majority of these games and it'll be awesome to be able to play the original Mario Kart with someone since it comes with two controllers.

I was originally going to get the NES classic just to have the experience of the original nintendo system. However, having been getting back in to games with the Nintendo Switch, I wanted to play more of the games that are on the SNES. I was born after the SNES but before the 64 so I got to play my cousin's old SNES and had so much fun with the games, so it was nostalgic to play Super Mario World 1 & 2, Mario Kart, and Donkey Kong Country. But to actually enjoy, games like Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, and Earthbound were some games I really wanted to try for myself. The game play and art design have become timeless. I was super excited and only slightly doubted my purchase, but as soon as I set it up, turned it on and flipped through the games, I knew I came home a winner :)

Great blast from the past. Could have more games and longer controller cable. Getting a wireless controller is a must!!

If you want to play some of your favorite childhood games I recommend getting this if you can find it. Nintendo is suppose to make a lot more of these then the original nes classic so be patient and don't pay scalper prices. Also the same controller extender cables that work on the nes classic work on this.

I was a bit skeptical of these Mini consoles. It seemed like not enough games on the device, it felt like a gimmick, and not worth the asking price. After picking one up and playing on it, all those worries fell away. There's something about playing on the actual device (and though the console is smaller it feel realistic enough) that trumps using an emulator. Full co-op is supported out the box, so playing games with my brothers brings back all kinds of great memories. Plus, the games hold up the test of time, bringing these experiences to a new generation.

This was the system I’ve always wanted and never got. And yes I could of brought it when I started working and got a better job but I just didn’t want to deal with all the cartridges. All the games on the list are of top quality. I played Eartbound for the 1st time and it is an awesome game. I always thought it was a cheesy plain game judging by the graphics. But it’s the storyline and the music is what makes this game so great. One game I wish was on here is Chronos Trigger. There’s a way to mod the system to add all types of games. I just choose to keep it original.

Nintendo did it again. Bringing back my childhood with some of my best memories playing the SNES with my old friends because now I’ll have new ones with my daughter playing the 2 player games. Just wish there was more co op games still worth the $80.

very nice classic gaming system for nostalgia, have hundreds of the classic games and all the real systems but one thing i like about this is the hdmi 720p resolution. sound is nearly identical to the original system. highly recommend!!

My suggestion would be call your local GameStop on a daily basis. They get 2-3 a week in. I just got mine after calling them everyday for several weeks. They got used to me calling and let me know when it was available. Happy hunting

Great collection of games at a great price, is fun to play many of this games again without to having to dig the old SNES out.

Although the games can be played elsewhere, playing them on the mini just opens up a completely new experience. Nintendo listened and made the controller cables longer so it's a big more manageable. The SNESc is the same size as the NESc, so the cases already available will work fine. In other news, the hardware is exactly the same, so those looking for game expansion are in luck. Thumbs up to Best Buy for shipping when they said they would, which resulted in early delivery for some lucky people.

Great retro game console just like the original vintage system but mini. And with great classic built in games.

Nice to see a variety in the games included. There are Nintendo, Capcom, and Konami brand games, just to mention a few. It’s been interesting physically/visually explaining the dynamics of 2-D scrollers to young kiddos. Jumping + crosspad movement not second nature to this set. These games/system offer a nostalgia factor that can’t be beat when sharing with your kiddos. It was worth the 6 hour wait...in the dark...and rain. I hope you guys pick ‘em up soon.

I was able to get one on launch day and I am amazing how nice the product really is. 1. The controller feels perfect just like the original, something even the 8-bitdo controllers can't match. 2. the selection of games is top notch the only other game I wish it had was Stunt Race FX. 3. Everyone says build a Retropie but it will never match the quality and polish of the Nintendo system not to mention the use of ROMs is still a grey area.

The built of Nintendo quality is top notch. Looks and feel the same as the original SNES back in the classic days but plays on updated settings to make even your grandkids say wow! Highly recommend to any family that play video games to grab one and play together with these timeless classics like Zelda and Mario. It is worth the purchase for new and old gamers alike.

growing up in the 80s with Nintendo, I was lucky enough to get a NES mini and impressed with the quality, I have high expectations for the SNES mini and even though it has less games than the NES and is more expensive, it does come with an extra controller so you can play together/against right out of the box.
