The SNES Classic Edition is full of 1990's retro goodness all bundled up into one small super powered package. Features of the console include; Four "Suspend Point" save slots per game that allow you to save your game anywhere, anytime during your adventure. Rewind allows you to go back 10-50 seconds in gameplay (depending on the game). So if you make a mistake, no problem go back a few seconds and try again. Screen filters CRT mode makes the picture look like those fuzzy images we grew up with as children, playing on our parents console TV which was more like furniture in those days. 4:3 maintains the correct aspect ratio Pixel perfect makes each pixel perfectly square as to produce a shaper image. The hardware is pretty straight forward plug-n-play. HDMI cable (included) for video and mini USB cable and wall adapter for power. The controllers (two are included) feel solid and fimiliar. Featuring the Wii/Wii U connector just like the NES CE controllers they can be used with those respective system's Wiimotes for Virtual Console play. Nintendo also addressed the biggest drawback of the NES CE controller cable length of 2.5 feet increaseing the SNES CE's to 5 feet.

By glancing over the box and seeing the choices of games, I knew I was going to have ton of fun playing this.

Absolutely love my snes classic! Throwback to the old days to beat the games I was too young to beat as a kid.

So much fun! Better game selection than the NES. Make sure to purchase the extention cords for the controller.

The selection of games in this console are some of the best SNES classics all in one package and a must have.

I bought this worried it wouldn't be worth the price but this system should be worth double. All of the games function phenomenally and it comes with two controllers unlike most systems now-a-days. Love playing with my friends and it's very portable too to bring over to someone's house.

My wife loves Mario. She wanted last years classic, but missed out. Now she has this and is always playing.

The SNES Classic is a great little machine made for those who are big fans of classic gaming. The SNES Classic fixes two huge issues that occurred with the NES Classic: cord length and lack of a second controller. While the cord length still isn't very long, it is a vast improvement over the NES Classic. This is also the first time that the completed version of StarFox 2 has been released to the public. Highly recommended, but do not pay more than retail.

After finding (by chance) a new stock at my local store. I immediately grabbed one. I was so excited to play the games I grew up with again. My kids were very interested in playing except for my 14 year old son. He is a Mario and Zelda fan. He kept teasing me about how old this game was, and yet he kept losing to the Mario world, and he is a pretty good player. I played as Mario and he was Luigi. In the end I proved that I could still play. Brought back so much fun memories of me and my sister playing the games that is on this console, especially Mario and Street Fighter. Have had no issues with it. Easy to set up and take a part. It does save your games as long as you save it before powering down and unplugging. Graphics can be changed but not by today's graphics. I only hook it up to the tv in my room because I don't want my kids breaking my console. Finally something for me..lol. Hours of fun, and my kids are actually starting to play it more, and they will come to watch me play it. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Totally brings back memories but it could have had a couple more games and the 6 foot cords on the controllers is ridiculous I have to sit on the floor to play and don't feel like paying extra money to extend them or make them wireless.

Just like back in the 90’s. I’d recommend buying the controller extensions for the extra $10. Well with it!!

Reminds me of my first Christmas when I got a SNES! Get one but get the cable extenders for the controller.

The original SNES was probably my favorite console of all time. I'm glad I got this to relive my childhood.

My wife has told me for years how much she loved playing Donkey along when she was a kid, so when I saw this in stock at my store while I was wandering around, I knew I had to get it! It was a bit expensive, but it does come with two controllers (whereas the NES Classic only comes with one) so we get to play together. It makes for a great way to wind down after a long day of work and her watching our two boys. Our sons are very interested in it, but being 1 and 4, there aren’t really any games that they can play quite yet. But I expect them to really enjoy it later. I really like how they added the ability to save your game at any point. It makes some of he games too easy, but it’s really nice when you have to stop and go do something else; you don’t have to keep the console on. It also auto-saves and turns off if it’s not used for a certain amount of time. One note: the controllers are wired and relatively short cables, so you have to be careful not to yank it too hard.
