This little gadget provides great, throwback fun. If you're looking to enjoy some gaming from the Golden Age, and not something that involves hyper realistic exit wounds with all the associated gore, then this would likely be worth your while. Sure there will be people who gripe about the game selection and lament the omission of this, that or the other, but all things considered it's a pretty good kit...especially if you don't have a functioning original console with accompanying games laying around. My only real gripe is that the cords are too short to be functional. We don't play on 20" tube televisions anymore and sit a little farther away. I recommend picking up some of the extension cords along with this.

This little thing is packed with 30 games from the past. If you grew up in the late 80’s -early 90’s you will enjoy this Classic Super NES system. Hooks up to any TV via HDMI and so compact. A must have.

Once availability for this opened up a bit last month, I jumped on the opportunity to finally pick this up. IMO, the SNES is the finest system ever made, and most of the games on this have aged magnificently. However, speaking of the games, where is Pilotwings? Turtles in Time and Final Fight would have also been great to have, especially considering other Capcom titles are on here. No Chrono Trigger is perhaps the most glaring omission. The selection on here is great, don't get me wrong (although I prefer Super Street Fighter II to Hyper Fighting, due to the superior character selection list), but the omissions, mixed with the super short controller cables, prevent me from giving this the highest possible recommendation.

I do own all but 3 of the games on this system for the original SNES. A great package if you don't want to go find all of the originals. Save states and rewind features makes the games too easy. So I recommend not using them if you want the original experience. Some of the games do have the original password and save systems intact.

I was so glad to discover Best Buy had this in stock! Ordered online and picked it up the same evening. For the money, this system and its incredible games are the most bang for your buck you can get anywhere right now, hands down. Secret of Mana, Zelda: Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Super Mario World, Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country, and more. You're in store for hundreds of hours of fun!

System is exactly as advertised and plays just like the original 1980's system. Why only 4 stars? I knew from previous reviews that there would be two areas that I would be disappointed in. (1) there are some games not included that I miss ... but I knew this in advance. (2) I would need an extension for the controller (I also knew this in advance). However, even though I knew about these two areas in advance, it reflects poorly on the manufacture because: (1) memory is cheap and every game made to play on the original could have easily been loaded on. (2) The cord length of the included controller basically renders the system unplayable until you add an extension; which is fairly cheap to do.

This really brings some nostalgia back as a gamer. if you're able to find one I definitely recommend you picking it up An awesome amount of entertainment for the price

I am a huge Nintendo collector so this was on the top of my list! I am very happy with the controller feel and quality. if you can get your hands on one I say go for it!

Honestly, if you have a gamer in your family or group of friends, you need to get them this! It even has Super Mario RPG and Super Mario Kart so you can get join in on the fun and benefit from something you bought them. You can't download more games on there but for the value, it's worth it to get all of these. If you want more classic games then get a Switch with an online subscription.

It was totally worth standing in line waiting to purchase. I have fun replaying all of the games that come in the system. Hopefully they release more of these consoles!!!

Games take me back to the originals. We have so much fun playing! Love the size as well.

I was lucky enough to go to my local best buy on a day where they had a few of these wonderful things in stock. I grew up with Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt for the NES. To be able to get this product brought me back to the simpler times. Nostalgia can be very powerful and the snes classic brings great classics into the modern era. If you can find one of these, grab it! You wont be disappointed.

Even better than the original NES classic! Plenty of games and easy to use.

Got lucky and found a bunch of these at a best buy picked up two! Haven't played yet gonna wrap up and save for Christmas which thankfully is only a few days away! :)

Was pumped when I heard about the release. When I was able to get my hands on one I was thrilled. Fun playing the throwback games on a tv bigger than the 1990s 30in ha!

Loved this. Good price for what you get. I only wish the cord were longer or wireless.

The amount of games included for the price makes this a no brainer. It’d be nice if Nintendo upgraded to wireless/Bluetooth controllers, but other wise it’s perfect.

Bought for my son for Christmas. Can’t wait to see his reaction. He loves Nintendo! Had an issue with the way the presale line happened but I was able to purchase one.
