I have always been a big smash bro. fan.. and my buddies play melee all the time. but Brawl take the cake by far.. the new characters are amazing and creative.. the new stages are good decent sized and the new destructable lvl feature make you feel super epic when you knock someone through a wall. sonic is the man, dont care what anyone says i will own you with him.. go get this game and join in you will be far from disappointed.

It is going to be amazing. The Graphics rock and each character has a special power like samus's mega blast that covers the entire screen but then she losses her armor. If only it was already out

Experienced SSB players: Adventure mode is a lot more fun, new characters. Cool items. You can play on better stages, melee stages, or even make your own. New SSB (super smash bros) players: Nintendo all-stars join together to fight to the finish. (No blood!) You can unlock characters. Or play an adventure mode! Ethier way,... it worth your money! The game itself was great. It took some time to learn the attacks and how to operate the characters at first (I recommend focusing on one character at a time to learn their attacks and abilities). The graphics were great and the game itself provides tons of action sequences, no round will ever be the same twice. My only gripe is that I played on a non-HDTV (a standard), and it kind of screwed up the resolution a bit...permenantly. I don't recommend playing on a non HDTV tv. Otherwise, if you stick with it and remain patient, you'll be good to go.

BEST GAME EVER. The graphics are awsome. The final smash is awsome. The Wii-wifi is so fun if your board fighting computers. The new adventure mode is the best. Olimar is one of the best charecters. SynopsisThey may look cute, but there's nothing nice about the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This fighting frenzy will have you inflicting painful KO's on familiar opponents you thought were your friends. Shoot spaceships out of the sky in the Lylat System from the Star Fox games and deal out killer blows in Rumble Falls based on the look and feel of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. Hit opponent after opponent to build up your damage meter, then knock your enemies clear off the screen. Rely on weapons that are silly but very effective, such as banana peels, pitfalls, gooey bombs and many more. Hurl old-school crates and barrels or select from Assist Trophies and Poke Balls to strike fear in the hearts of your foes. Combine Standard, Strong and Smash attacks to bash your way to victory. There are so many ways to smash, you'll get lost in the melees for hours on end.

Simply awesome. Lots of game play. You can go through the single player levels, the events, brawl against friends, or do online brawls. INSANE! I like the fact that you can earn different trophies and stickers, it keeps you playing. Plus, unlocking incredible characters from Sonic to Toon Link is sweet. Definatly worth the money! so many characters and ways too play, i dont even eat if i dont have too while playing the game! ive never played a game better than this! i will admit though, its so addicting, last night when i was trying too keep my mind clear, all i could see was smash bros. gameplay, no matter how hard i tried, it was just a natural thing i couldnt get rid of!

Everyone knows that the Super Smash Bros. games, are the best multiplayers, ever. It's fun, you can choose over 30 characters, and you can finally, unlock somebody whos NOT from Sega (like Sonic) or Nintendo (like Mario)! Snake from the exclusive PS3 game (Metal Gear Solid) is unlockable! How about that? This is "the game" for the Wii. MUST HAVE

This has everything, online, a great story, custom maps, unlockables, great multiplayer, it even has a tourney mode. Although kids should probably be at least 8 before playing this, its a little violent

The new Smash Bros. Brawl game is excellent. If you like straight up fun and action by yourself or with friends, you should get this game. It's by far the best one out of the three Smash Bros series, and every character is well-balanced. It includes most of the old characters from the previous games, and as well as some new characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Snake (from Metal Gear Solid), Wario, and many more! The controls are exactly the same as Smash Bros Melee, so you won't have to learn anything new, but they have added in other features as well. Each character has a "final smash" , which is pretty much a super move. You can plug in game cube controllers to play, and also play with the WiiMote + Nunchuk, or just the Wiimote itself. The online play is fun, but it's a little laggy. It's free though, so you can't really complain. Even if you're playing alone, there's many single player modes and events that will keep you busy. They allow co-op mode for all of the single player events/modes as well, so if a friend wants to jump in during your adventure-mode, they can. Overall, this game is probably my best purchase out of all the games, because it hardly ever gets boring.

The third game in Nintendo's vaunted Smash Bros. series, Brawl brings to the Wii exactly what it did in its first two iterations: fast, frenized, fun gameplay that can last for hours on end. My friends and I have literally spent hours upon hours continuously brawling. With 35 characters (21 initially available) and 41 different stages (not to mention the fact that you can make your own stages!), the gameplay options are virtually limitless. There are countless modes of play, and it's enough to keep even a single player busy for weeks, if not months, on end (see how long it takes you to beat boss battle mode on intense difficulty!) Unfortunately, the game isn't perfect. The online mode is extremely laggy and slow, and doesn't add to the experience as most players would have hoped. Also, the single player adventure mode, called the Subspace Emissary, is extremely repetitive and long. In short, it's not very fun to play, but you need to play it to beat all of the challenges. All in all, though, these really are minor complaints, as the rest of the game shines enough that it more than makes up for its small shortcomings. If you own a Wii, you should own this game. Period.

bought this game the day it came out and have been playing it ever since. All my friends love to play it, it is great for parties. if you have a wii you have to have this game. the graphics are great and the controls can be picked up quickly. overall an awesome game

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is easily going to go down as one of the best (and best selling) Wii games in history, just as SSB did with the N64 and GameCube. The sheer idea of battling it out with your favorite Nintendo characters is a draw itself, but now with the inclusion of third party greats like Snake and Sonic, the game got even better. Using backdrops from Nintendo's vast library of catalog titles (such as the original Mario Bros. arcade game, Aminal Crossing, etc) and classic characters like ROB the Robot and Ice Climbers, SSBB is a game with replay value like no other. The Wii controls take some getting used to, but you can use the Classic Controller for the more old school feel. The only drawback would be the online component. Thanks to Nintendo's tight lock on online playablity (to protect children), there is no voice chat or anyway to communicate with people you fight against online... part of the fun of fighting with friends is the trash talk! But its only a small complaint because overall, the game was well worth the multiple delays. Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be played for years to come.

This game is fun fun fun!!! Adults can enjoy playing this game while reminiscing over the old ninendo characters some of us grew up with. The only reason I would not recommend this game to kids is because it may send out a violent message to some.

I don't care wat other people say, but this is one of the best game i have ever play. this game has more options like u can create your own stage, new characters, stickers, wi-fi connection, new stages, and way more. I can play this game for hours. This is the best bithday present you can give to your kid.

I bought this game because I love SSB. It is possibly the best game i have ever played. In this game there are a lot of new stages and characters. There is also an awsome Adventure Mode. The adventure mode might be confusing at times for some people. overall this is one of the best games ever!

First of all, I am a born and bred Nintendo player. I own all of the previous Super Smash titles and have always been an avid fan of these games. Brawl did not let me down, the characters, items, levels, adventure mode, and brawl mode were all very original and satisfying. My only disappointment was that it is hard to master playing this game without a gamecube controller. I personally was hoping for a more interactive game (like Zelda Twilight Princess, where shaking the controller slashes your sword and you aim your bow by pointing your Wiimote at the screen) Overall, I would recommend this to any person of any age, it's a great asset to any Nintendo collection. Brawl is fun to play if you have a few buddies over, or through the adventure mode by yourself. It's a great buy!!!

I'VE BEEN A HUGE FAN OF THE SERIES EVER SINCE THE N64 INCARNATION. WHILE LITTLE HAS CHANGED IN THE OVERALL PLAY MECHANICS, IT'S THE LITTLE NUANCES THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. FIRST OF ALL, THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY NINTENDO FAN. I CAN'T THINK OF ONE CHARACTER THAT THIS GAME DOES NOT HAVE IN IT IN SOME SHAPE OR FORM. THE SINGLE-PLAYER MODE IS EXTREMELY ROBUST WITH ALL OF THE UNLOCKABLE CHARACTERS, TROPHIES AND STICKERS THERE ARE TO COLLECT, THIS WILL HAVE YOU PLAYING FOR MONTHS ON END. THERE IS A LEVEL EDITOR THAT ALLOWS YOU TO CREATE YOUR OWN LEVELS AND UPLOAD THEM ONTO WII'S ONLINE SERVICE FOR OTHER'S TO JUDGE AND PLAY. THERE IS ALSO THE ONLINE ELEMENT THAT WAS SORELY LACKING IN OTHER ITERATIONS OF THE FRANCHISE. HOWEVER, WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE ONLINE, THERE HAS BEEN SOME ISSUES WITH GETTING ONLINE OR BEING KICKED OFF THE SERVER FROM TIME TO TIME. OVERALL, THIS DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THIS AMAZING GAME AND IS A MUST BUY FOR ANY WII OWNER.

Great game!!! I love how they bring so many different characters into one game. The reply on this game is high, for they have several characters that you cant use until you unlock them. This game is fun to play alone or with a friend. I even got my girlfriend to play with me!!
