Gave me years of fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will always remember Brawl fondly because I had so much fun playing it with friends during my post-high school years. It is kind of broken when it comes to competitive play, but as a party game it is just amazing.

Great game we have all been waiting for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the game we have been waiting for. This is one of the only games on the Wii for gamers instead of its usual target audience of everyone. This game is a accentual addition to any gamers collection. The multiplayer is somewhat unclean when playing online, but with friends the options are abundant. It is more than just the old smash bros with better graphics it has many new options and game mode, and a single player story that doesn't disappoint. Overall Review: 95% recommended for experienced gamers. A necessary addition to your Wii Collection.

Great Fun for the Entire Family
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played Super Smach Brothers since it was out on the Nintendo 64 and I have always liked them, but this so far is great. I've only had it for a week and I cant stop, it took me about 15 minutes to really know how it all works (that's a long time for me) but then once you figure that out, it is off the walls fun! My entire family plays it, it's a good way to get out some fustration, and we all have fun (And my parents are in their 40s). A great party game, or a great present for someone with a Wii. All that I could say bad about this game is that the graphics are a bit under my expectations, but those are really high so don't worry they're still great. Trust me, I bought it with my own money and I don't regret it at all, I'll be playing this for a very long time. Thanks for reading, IceSplice

Quite Possibly the Best Videogame Ever made! EVER!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's see... a scale of 1-5...hmmm... i give it a 12! What I don't understand is how four players fighting on a screen can be confusin... as long as your're using different characters or at LEAST different colors, what's the problem? And it's REPETITIVE? What exactly do you propose? The first level Mario and Kirby fighting, the next Barney doing Sing-a-Long?

almost the bestwii game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is the newest, and almost best wii game. i wouln't say itsd the best game ever, but it's probably in the top 10. there's so muc new everthing. characters, multiplayer, stages, items, minigames, moves, and tons more. minigame sare great top get you going. multiplayer is the greatest in thwe wholer game though. if you don't have any one to play with, then there's online. but the only problem i had was the stuff you get like the stickers. its pretty weird, but keeps you going. but this is a game you have to get if you have a wii.

Fun game, great for everyone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far one of my most favorite games for the Wii! Have had many, many hours of great fun playing this game, even at "adult" parties. Everyone gets a good laugh, lots of fun to be had challenging your friends and using Pikachu to destroy them! Worth the price of admission, for sure!

Excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game. New characters and levels make it better that melee. Gameplay makes up for minor faults. Multiplayer is hard to get set up.

Best 50 hours of My Life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Smash Brothers Brawl, the lastest edition to the SSB series is the best thus far. Though it has a lot of similuarites to Melee it brings its own special armada of new features. A new updated list of characters, including sonic, pokemon trainer and metaknight help to make this brawl the best one yet. With so many options to choose from you can easily spend a good month straight of game play and it will never get old. The only thing that could have made this game better is if Megaman could have made the A-list!

Great combat game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Smash Bros Brawl will always be a combat favorite. The unlockables make the game very fun and addictive. The mini challenges make the game all the better. There are 35 characters, all with a variety of attacks, and 40 differnt battle arenas. The multiplayer mode and online is very exciting playing against other people. The length of the story mode is rather long, but fun. Nintendo could of improved on the graphics, but the rest of the content make up for it. The game is a MUST BUY!!!

An Appropriate Tribute
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An avid player of the N64 version, I hoped that Brawl would live up to my memories of playing it late at night with my college buddies. It did! Though the Subspace Emissary Quest portion is grueling--I played for 12 hours to get through 86%--it is worth it. While bringing back character favorites, the new guys from various legendary Nintendo games add even more enjoyment in gameplay. Along with all the new Wii features--training, events, wi-fi--this games ranks in the top 10 on the console.

One of the greatest Wii games out!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great! I got it for Christmas and I have been playing ever since! The characters here are from almost all of the famous Nintendo games and I could use the Gamecube remote if I wanted. There are team battles to play with friends and brothers (or sisters) so everyone is happy. My only conflict is some of the battles are extremely hard to play on normal, like the Dark Link mission. Other than that though, awesome game! Anyone who likes Nintendo, this game is a MUST HAVE.

GREAT game for wii
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tons of fun with frends, lots of maps, map creator, classic maps from Melee, classic characters, new characters to SSB series, tons of unlocks, u can film videos and then upload them (via SD memory card) and lots of other feaures, for only $49.99, cheaper than most games. Cons- online mode, wat what do u expect, nintendo doesnt have good online, but at least it has it, its still pretty fun, and u can play with frends (if u have thr freind code that is) All in all, best game for wii

A Great Time with Friends
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Smash Bros Brawl is a great party game. When you have friends over to play, this can be some of the best times you can have gaming. The gameplay is fast and fun. If you have more than four friends over, rounds end quickly enough that its easy to take turns. It can be just as much fun watching four friends duke it out as playing yourself. Controls are easy to pick up, but can take time to master, leaving plenty for beginners and pros alike. Online play is great too, but you miss out on the live experience of having friends over. Also, I found myself getting bored with single player modes. But overall, a great purchase for anybody with a couple of friends to play with.

WARNING: This Game eliminate your social life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SSBB was the most highly anticipated game to come out this year and to say it lived up to its expectations would be to tell the truth. The game's new story mode adds a sense of purpose to all the fighting while giving gamers a story line to unravel and to enjoy understanding. While the game harks back to its predecessors, it attempts to break new ground in all the previous areas and manges to succeed in most: the new characters and updated graphics help to show that this game is a powerful new addition to the SSb series. Where the games fails lies at simple things that I feel really perturb me as I play the game: first off, the long load times really bother me sometimes due to the time spent sitting in front of the screen waiting for something to jump out and say "Ready, go!". I know i sound impatient but wasn't the whole waiting for the level to load thing left back during the 90's? After that i feel the ability to save without realizing where you're saving proves to be a bothersome problem ever since my little sister saved over my nearly completed game. And finally the fact that some of the characters do not seem to be very well of in terms of fighting ability or any remarkable ability what so ever: for example, Olimar's attacks quite frankly don't do enough to do anything against someone like mario or DK . Ganandorf's speed and lack of sword fighting ability makes him a weak character as well. Maybe its just me but when i try to use those characters i end up losing most of the time despite having learned most of their moves. In the end, I would say that SSBB is worthy of a five star review withholding my little pet peeves. Let's just hope that the next version will be able to allow us to play for long hours and still manage to keep our social lives from falling into a black hole.

THE BEST
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.excellent game!!! totally adictive and you'll never get bored!! maybe you would want more wiimotes to play with more people. Its a great game for reunions with friends the only thing i found with the game is that, in my personal case, i cant play with other people on the net, but thats probably because of the masive amount of people. Even watch online battles with other players around the world is fun!! you can bet coins on a player!! totally recommended

Best Wii Game Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game rocks. I has all your favorite Nintendo characters plus well-loved third-party characters Sonic and Snake. The game has different game modes to choose from: solo play, four-player battle, online play, etc. Graphics is the best I have seen on the Wii so far. Replay value is great so your money is all worth the purchase. This is a game that you will play for hours today and for the years to come not until the next sequel to this series comes out.

This is gonna be great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the Best Buy information section says that this game is only going to be one player, it is obviously wrong...even the Nintendo website says that it is for up to 4 players. DO NOT let this misinformation from Best Buy deter you from buying this game! If it is anything like Super Smash Bros. Melee, you will still be playing this game when the next one comes out! I have been playing Melee pretty much everyday and I'm still not tirede of it!
